During the weekend of 14, 15 and 16 October 2016 many tasty festivals in Campania, especially dedicated to chestnuts!
We can say that we have now officially entered the autumn also from the meteorological point of view, so what better opportunity to kick off festivals in Campania dedicated to chestnuts?
In weekend from 14 to 16 October 2016 there will be two famous events not to be missed: the Roccamonfina chestnut festival, with an excellent menu also based on porcini mushrooms and new specialties, and that of San Potito Ultra which also includes dishes of boar.
In Maddaloni, however, a very different but always tasty festival, one dedicated to the apple with original events such as a vintage gathering.
Finally, in Praiano we will be able to discover the autumn side of the Amalfi Coast.
Chestnut and wild boar festival
Many specialties based on chestnuts at the San Potito Ultra festival with a tasty menu that will make you choose between soups, braciate, sweets and the famous Guinness trunk of the primates. There will also be a music program with concerts every night, lots of good wine and certainly a world of fun, as well as the possibility of ecological walks and visits to dairy farms and specialized in apiculture.

Chestnut Festival in Roccamonfina
It is the fortieth edition of this festival that always attracts many visitors to Roccamonfina and this year will not disappoint anyone with its menu full of dishes based on chestnuts and porcini mushrooms. There will also be specialties such as chestnut liqueur, chestnut jam and chestnuts in syrup and, naturlamente, a lot of animation, music and shows.

Feast of the apple
The Feast of the Apple is back in Maddaloni, where this splendid fruit will be highlighted. In addition to many stands where you can make tastings, there will also be spectacular events like the ones Wavers and of the many street artists. In addition, we will witness a fascinating one gathering of vintage motorcycles and cars and you will have fun with the music that will accompany the whole event. A concert by Gigi Finizio is also scheduled.

Flavors of Autumn in Praiano
In Praiano, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, there will be a delicious gastronomic feast with local and typical products of the autumn season, but also many other delights. The location will be Piazza San Gennaro, the most evocative of the Municipality, and the festival will be accompanied by Italian light music and folk music, all by the Duo Peppe and Diletta. A very special occasion to experience this place, typically summer, even in autumn.
