The festivals in Campania continue to delight us even after the Christmas holidays and the Epiphany!
The Christmas holidays and the Epiphany are now definitively over, but they don't end festivals in Campania for the joy of the palate of the sweet tooth.
In weekend of 8, 9 and 10 January 2016, one of the most interesting events will take place in the Phlegraean area of Naples, with the Feast of the Flegreous Basket that will let us know the activities of the local Slow Food Convivium and the tasty products of the territory, to learn how to become more aware consumers.
Then continue the markets in San Lorenzello, with fun activities like the ice rink and entertainment shows, in addition of course to tastings of local dishes, like taralli. In Acerra, on the other hand, Pulcinella will continue to entertain visitors in his village set up ad hoc and, in the frame of the PAN of Naples, wine estimators can take part in a touring tasting with a very amusing show.
Feast of the Flegreous Basket
An opportunity to discover Phlegraean agricultural products in a place where the Slow Food Condotta dei Campi Flegrei has developed an initiative of enhancement of local fruit and vegetables, thanks to the collaboration of local farmers. During the festival you can pack your own basket and, with the first order, you will receive a homage with a "Phlegraean flavor". From 9 January onwards, it will be possible to place orders every week and become “sustainable consumers”.

5 glasses of wine
At the Naples PAN, an event for all wine lovers. It will be possible taste the fine wines of the Colli Frigentini winery in a traveling itinerary that will also lead to the tasting of tasty finger food. Every evening will be dedicated to show Thanks to a nice sommelier, a former champagne sparkler who believes he is Napoleon, a woman in crisis for having mistaken the choice of wine and many other strange characters.

Lights and tastings in San Lorenzello
Tastings of local products continue, especially the delicious ones taralli, in the municipality of San Lorenzello, still illuminated by the splendid artist lights set up for more than a month. Spending the day in the country also means having fun with the ice skating rink and participate in organized shows and concerts. Furthermore, in the nearby park you can visit the City of Dinosaurs, with 20 life size reproductions of these prehistoric animals.

Village of Pulcinella
In Acerra, for the period of the Christmas holidays, the Village of Pulcinella was set up animated by the famous character of the Neapolitan tradition. Children, but also adults, can continue to have fun in this dedicated area, which will last until the end of January. Plus, they will always be there tastings of dishes prepared with local products, entertainment shows will be organized, creative workshops and entertainment for the little ones. Finally, the visit to the ancient Baronial Castle with the Museum on Pulcinella inside is interesting.
