This is the first edition of the San Carlo Opera Festival, this is the title of the summer festival of the Massimo Partenopeo, which provides, outside the classical theater season of one of the most famous institutions in the world, the representation of four of the most famous operas that will accompany the spectators throughout the summer until at the beginning of the autumn season.

Delbono he curates the direction of an unprecedented one Cavalleria Rusticana which has already excited audiences and critics in the summer of 2012. With a prologue on the meaning of loss and mourning that seeks resurrection, Pippo Delbono opens the doors to the Sicilian hinterland village where the dark Verga story takes place.
