Suggestions at dusk at the Pausilypon Park: program of shows and concerts
The beautiful review is finally back for this summer Suggestions at the Dusk which takes place at the Pausilypon Archaeological Park in Naples with a full program of theatrical performances and concerts.
The events are included in the broader program of appointments of theSummer in Naples and will be held from 30 July to 11 September 2021 with talented and internationally renowned artists.
There will be concerts by the Nuova Scarlatti Orchestra, dance evenings, the music of talented violinists and pianists and much more.
Guided tours and mini concerts before the shows
Before each show is expected 30-minute mini-concert. This is the miniprogram "Digressions on the Epitaph of Sicilo”By the Santa Chiara Orchestra. They will take place at the end of the guided tour that leads from the Grotta di Seiano to the Pausilypon Park, finding themselves in the very suggestive widening of the Villa di Pollione.
ArsHelichrysum Duo and MandGuit Duo will perform alternately.
The Suggestions at Dusk program
30th July
Concert by Bruno Canino, legend of the Neapolitan piano school. It is the opening concert of the festival and Bruno Canino will also receive the Canto di Virgilio Award, a life for music. He will perform in music by J. Brahms, F. Chopin, F. Listz, PI Tchaikovsky, I. Albeniz, M. Ravel, LM Gottschalk. D. Scarlatti, M. Clementi.
August 6th
Dances, Entertainment and Minuets with the Scarlatti Young Orchestra by the New Scarlatti Orchestra. The instrumentalists, in chamber ensembles, will propose pieces by Gioachino Rossini, the whimsical Danza
Hungarian No. 6 by Brahms, the Pizzicata Polka, the Leichtes Blut Polka schnell by Johann Strauss jr. and other music by WA Mozart, FJ Haydn, V. d'Indy, J. Brahms, J. Strauss, G. Rossini.
August 13th
PNEUMA with Bruno Persico piano, Luca Signorini cello, Cristiano De Pascale drums and CFM Marching Band. The duo will propose “Picolit perfume”, that is an original interpretation of classical pieces
jazz and the performers themselves. There will also be music by Bach, Scarlatti, Cimarosa, Signorini, Persico, Gershwin, Cole, Young.
August 20th
PORT DE VOIX: Cantatas and Sonatas of the Neapolitan Baroque. Curated by Antonio Florio's Neapolitan Chapel. The Port de Voix Baroque Ensemble will perform in a concert dedicated to the study of the Neapolitan sacred musical heritage between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, offering unpublished material.
August 27th
MATER MEDITERRANEA: Journey into the Pathos of Partenope. Music by Enzo Amato, texts by Umberto Franchini.
In Neapolitan it tells the story of a journey of knowledge where chaos, time and meaning
as founding elements-rhythms, they characterized the civilization of the migrations of the Mediterranean shores.

An anticipation of the "International Festival of the Eighteenth Century Neapolitan Music XXI edition". We want to pay homage to the Neapolitan victims of Covid-19 with the representation of one of the most evocative pages of all time.

The “Santa Chiara Orchestra” presents THE DANCES OF DIONISO. Written and directed by Carlo Faiello.
Dionysus, God of Dance and Drunkenness will be the protagonist of the evening with readings and music that recall the place where the event will take place and the School of Virgil.

NAUAGHIA NAUFRAGIUM by Rosario Diana - Names and epiphanies from the pain of migrants. Dramaturgical poem for two actors and a percussionist. We want to show the typical traits of the pain of today's migrants.
September 11th
PETITE MUSICAL OFFERS - The Winds of the New Scarlatti Orchestra. A very refined program ranging from Mozart to 1905-year-old Rossini, from Ferenc Farkas (2000-1943) to the “Petiteofferande musica”, a page from 1930 by Nino Rota. The program includes three short pieces by Jacques Ibert (XNUMX).
