The splendid living representations of the paintings by Caravaggio with the Tableaux Vivants at the Diocesan Museum of Naples return!

Also this year, in Diocesan Museum of Naples, some of the most beautiful will be staged paintings by Caravaggio thanks to a very original representation that in every appointment is a huge success.

Indeed, the works will become gods real living pictures, thanks to the skill of some actors who will perform on a stage inside the Museum. Wearing clothes with drapes, special accessories and using a few other objects, reproduce perfectly the positions of the characters of the paintings and the environmental context.

And just like for Caravaggio, light will also play a fundamental role. Indeed, the little light: in fact it will be a ray of natural light to illuminate the scene and focus attention on some details. 23 canvases will be staged.
In the background, classical music will be heard to the notes of Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi and Sibellius.

The director of the performances is Ludovica Rambelli.
