The art of the Neapolitan Pizzaiolo recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the third anniversary of the prestigious recognition is celebrated in Naples!
On 7 December 2017, three years ago, the art of the Neapolitan Pizzaiolo was recognized Cultural Heritage of Humanity by Unesco.
The Neapolitan pizza, therefore, the symbol of the city and which contains goodness, art and traditions, becomes part of the list of pintangible cultural heritage of humanity.
This year on the occasion of the third anniversary were organized in Naples different events which will take place during the days of 7,8 and 9 December 2020. It will be a great initiative that will see the participation of the Campania hotel schools.
We also remember the beautiful crib that was it made with pizza dough, cork and wood by pizza chefs together with artisans to celebrate the third anniversary of the recognition.

Monday December 7 2020
- 10:30 am at the Basilica of Santa Chiara the installation of the Nativity scene of Neapolitan pizza makers
- 12:00 Royal Pontifical Basilica of San Francesco di Paola (Piazza del Plebiscito, Naples) - Holy Mass and blessing of the pizza makers
- 16:00 Web conference in live streaming - #PizzaUnesco and #DietaMediterraneaUnesco: protection, enhancement and transmission to future generations of cultural and agri-food heritage Direct streaming - on the Facebook pages: Fondazione UniVerde and Scabec - on the Cultura Campania portal.

- Solidarity pizza In collaboration with the San Gennaro Naples Foundation and the Salerno Community Foundation: it will be offer pizza to the homeless of the two main cities
