Summer 2015 will be animated by events, concerts, shows, sports and much more with the Tourist Village on the Naples waterfront!
SECURITY UPDATE TRAINING
The Village on the Lungomare has been closed after a few days the opening for the termination of the contract with the organizer of the event, PjEvents. The Municipality was not satisfied with the set-up of the stands, more like stalls, and with the disorganization in the definition of the program, decided week by week and without a timetable determined from the beginning. Furthermore, not all the available space had yet been covered and some safety regulations were not respected.
At the moment it is thought, probably, to organize some initiative that could at least pass in ferragosto in the city with some events at the Rotonda Diaz.

Il Parthenope Village will be active 18 from July to August 21 2015 on Waterfront of Naples and it will be a real one Touristic village that will accompany the summer of the Neapolitans and the many tourists who will arrive in the city.
The project was approved by the Municipality of Naples and presented and organized by Pj Events, a Neapolitan company that has been dealing with communication and event organization for decades.
The Parthenope Village will be set up with originality and thought in every detail to entertain and amaze the visitor, making it a part of the dozens of activities of any kind that will be organized, including shows, sports, concerts and also areas of relaxation and commercial.
It will kick off in conjunction with the start of the Gay Pride of Naples which, for the final part of its route, includes the arrival at Castel dell'Ovo.
The Parthenope Village
With well- 55 stand and divided into 4 blocks, it will be built between Piazza della Repubblica and Viale Dohrn, the two points in which i will be placed gate entry and exit, including infopoints and reception areas for visitors.
Via Caracciolo will be a "promenade", as well as the area in front of the Villa and the Rotonda Diaz area, as we will see, will host almost all appointments.
Between the Villa and Piazza Vittoria, on the other hand, thesports area. There will also be many refreshment areas.
Along the way there will be many bar e baretti that will move across the sea in order to encourage the movida of young people.
La Rotonda Diaz - The Events
The Rotonda Diaz will be the beating heart of the Village, where almost all the events will take place and where a stage with fan stands will be set up.
The concerts will take place from Friday to Sunday with international names.
Two lots with stand and green areas they will be entry: they will be two disused naval containers with glass walls can be used to host promotional and receptive activities, so as to give space also to Chiaia dealers.
The green areas of the stands, on the other hand, will be decorated with temporary flowerbeds with environmentally friendly essences.
On the stage will perform the numerous artists including dance performances, dance talent show with important Neapolitan schools, cineteatro, theatrical performances on a boat with a ride on the Gulf, Neapolitan theater, music, circus performance, outdoor cinema. The calendar will also be enriched by educational workshops for children, literary prizes, fashion shows, djset, bar tender performance.
Behind the stage there will be administrative and technical stands, for logistics and organization.
Gallery of Sails
Between the Villa Comunale and the Rotonda Diaz there will be a "Gallery of Sails", the gem of the Tourist Village which will inspire the organization. They will be tensile structures with suspended tie-rods in steel frames with Teflon or micro-perforated membranes that will remind you of real sails.
They will have various functions: first of all, they will create shaded areas to protect yourself from the heat; in addition, they will delimit event spaces. Above all, they will be an integral part of events as they can be used as projection screens of videos on the activities of the Village and the most important events of the previous day.
Other activities
The Tourist Village will also be a place of physical activity in which they will take place sports activities with lots of challenges. For example, you can play tennis, pilates, Beach volleyball, foot golf in fields set up ad hoc with stands and small tribune to allow visitors to follow the games.
The definitive program of all the initiatives is nearing completion, but there is already a very suggestive idea regarding the opening. A will probably be organized concert on a floating platform on the sea, in front of the Rotonda Diaz.
