Evening visits to Herculaneum for summer 2019 with videomapping and tableaux vivants

Summer 2019 with suggestive guided visits to the archaeological park of Ercolano, between virtual reality and tableaux vivants.

Wanted by the Campania Region, it begins Friday 19 July 2019 a cycle of evocative evening visits to the archaeological park of Ercolano and at the Splendori exhibition. These visits will be held every Friday until September 20 in the context of Campania by night.

Along the way visitors can watch the projection of images of the frescoes that belonged to Herculaneum and that after being detached are now preserved at National Archaeological Museum of Naples (MANN): this will be possible through the technique of videomapping.

In addition, spectators will be able to enjoy the recreation of the same frescoes with people of flesh and blood that will stage exciting tableaux vivants that reconstruct the scenes under the public eye.

Where: Ercolano Archaeological Park, Corso Resina - 80056 Ercolano

When: every Friday evening from 19 July to 20 September 2019

Time: from the 20 24

Price: The ticket is free for children under 18; for the others it costs 5 euros the ordinary one and 2 the reduced one for visitors between 18 and 25 years old (not completed) and for Campania holders Artecard;

Tickets can be purchased online at this address; or at Ticketone retailers in Campania; or at the ticket office of the Archaeological Park of Ercolano; advance booking is mandatory even for children and young people who use the free ticket.

The itinerary is accompanied in Italian; provides many steps, so it is not suitable for those with mobility problems;
Visitors in wheelchairs can book their visit by writing a week in advance to stefania.siano@beniculturali.it, indicating the desired day and time of the visit;

The appointment is at the Park ticket office, at least 20 minutes before the start of the visit;
better to wear low and comfortable shoes apply a protection against mosquitoes; in case of bad weather the course will take place indoors in the Antiquarium and the Boat Pavilion.
