Festivals in Naples and Campania
Summer is rightly the season of festivals and Campania is a region where the opportunities to participate in these tasty events are truly numerous. For this weekend, we want to advise you two of the most famous festivals of our areas, festive events in which not only will you eat excellent local food and sip good wine, but you can also have fun with dances and songs typical of those places.
L a Festival of Pennetta all'Arrabbiata also this year it will take place in Marigliano, in the province of Naples8, from 4 to 6 July 2014 and you will have the opportunity to eat not only the dish that gives the fair its name, but also several of its variations. Not to be missed is the pennetta all'arrabbiata alla sparkle!
Until the 13 July, however, in Dugenta there will be the famous Pancetta Festival and Wild Boar Sausage, a fair started well 3 months ago. As you can guess from the title, there will be numerous dishes based on pancetta and sausage, accompanied by excellent wine and folk dances and songs.
Vsite night drives
Naples is practically a open-air museum, as we know, and the areas of the historic center, as well as the province, is full of sites, buildings, streets and monuments to visit, not to mention the many walks that can be made in the most hidden alleys. We recommend you for this weekend two fascinating guided tours: one in the historic center of the city and the other among the suggestive excavations of Herculaneum.
On July 4th, the Hermann Nitsch Museum will be visited as part of the guided night tours organized by the Neapolitan Cultural Heritage Association in concert with the Intra Moenia literary café in Piazza Bellini. During this visit, you will walk through streets, alleys and squares in the Pontecorvo area until you reach the Museum of the desecrating Austrian artist.
La evening visit of Ercolano of 5 July will not only give you the opportunity to admire the excavations of the town, but also to attend an interesting 3D projection on the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD An archaeologist will guide you through the ancient streets between historical tales and suggestions of light , theatrical and musical performances.
Exhibitions in Naples and Province
The exhibitions to visit are never lacking, but in these months Naples and the province host the exhibitions of two of the most important artists of the nineteenth and twentieth century: Andy Warhol and Pablo Picasso.
If you have not yet visited the Andy Warhol exhibition, you can do it more conveniently during the weekends of July. In fact, during the weekends access to the exhibition of the American artist's works will be allowed to reduced price and the hours will be extended until midnight.
As for Pablo Picasso, even during this weekend it will be possible to visit the splendid exhibition dedicated to the Spanish artist. The Villa Fiorentino of Sorrento it hosts a large exhibition of works by Picasso that retrace the artistic career, allowing us to admire his lesser known works, but also some of his most famous masterpieces.
Aperol Spritz in Naples
The legendary aperitif based on Aperol makes a double stop in Naples to offer two evenings of relaxation and excellent drinks. These are two parties in the series Everybody's Welcome and will take place simultaneously in the vicinity of Castel dell'Ovo and Vomero, thanks to the van that makes a tour throughout the peninsula bringing with it the music of some DJs that will brighten the evenings.

Malika Ayane concert
The Italian-Moroccan singer will perform live in a concert in the exclusive setting of the Nabilah in Bacoli, one of the most sought after beach clubs of the summer. From the first self-titled album to the last work, "Recreation", Malika Ayane will propose the most important songs of her musical career.

Ecological Sunday Program
Sunday 6 July there will be a new ecological Sunday that, in addition to the usual traffic device, will also offer a rich program of events. Between echo-scavenger hunts to the differentiated, itineraries to visit convents and sacred complexes, Yoga practices and the eco-energy wheelbarrow, it will certainly be fun to learn important concepts about environmental sustainability.

2014 Festival Improteatro
Back in Campania the Improvisation Theater, with the second edition of the Improteatro Festival. 12 shows in which 8 improvisational theater companies from all over Italy will perform engaging performances for the public, who will be able to admire the magic of a unique and unrepeatable show.

Vintage Sails Regatta
The Lungomare di Napoli hosts a new event, this time even richer in charm: the regatta of vintage sails. In its waters they will sail retro boats from all over the world, including the old Dragone owned by the Circolo Savoia, the Ausonia, first measured in Italy.

Chills of Summer at the Botanical Garden
Also this year, the Real Orto Botanico hosts the "Chills of Summer" show review, in which per ben 45 days there will be theater, music and games in the beautiful location of Via Foria. For this edition, also a September queue, with events during the weekends of the month up to the September 21.

Bateau Mouche tour
As for every summer weekend, once again it will be possible to make one trip to the Bay of Naples on the Bateaux Mouches that leave from the port of Mergellina. A visit of 40 minutes to admire the entire coast of Posillipo arriving at the islet of Nisida, and then return to the port with a panoramic tour to Castel dell'Ovo.

Summer camp at the Agnano Hippodrome
Event dedicated to children, that of the summer camp organized at the Agnano Hippodrome until August 2014. Kids can have fun by participating in numerous activities sports and entertainment, such as basketball, five-a-side football, volleyball, water games, drawing, days at the beach or pony riding.
