At the Diana Theater will be honored the director Ettore Scola with a special theatrical transposition of "A particular day". History is set in the years of fascism and brings on stage the solitude of two souls, that of Antonietta interpreted by Valeria Solarino and that of Gabriele interpreted by Giulio Scarpati.

Vermeer in Capodimonte

Exhibition of De Chirico

In the Mag Gallery, in Amalfi it will be possible to admire the exhibition by Giorgio De Chirico, the most important exponent of metaphysical painting, entitled "Reconstruction". The exhibition includes 13 canvases which include subjects already experimented in their youth and which cover the period from the 1948 to the 1976, the period of the painter's old age.

Unpublished paintings at Capodimonte

The Museum of Capodimonte has been enriched with other paintings of the Neapolitan 600 which come from the deposits of the Museum. The public will be shown many important canvases selected by the Art Gallery and some unpublished paintings including the Annunciation by Louis Finson, the Capture of Christ by Matthias Stomer and Salome by Charles Mellin.
