Twelve new tips to spend the weekend of 24 and 25 May in Naples!
Last week our city was overwhelmed by one Tsunami of events. Even if this time there will not be Mika and not even the feast of Nutella, Napoli will still manage to entertain us with new interesting events that will take place on Saturday, Sunday and we also add a small one treat for the Friday evening 23 May.
You can spend this weekend in the company of a good glass of wine, riding a vintage Vespa, among catamarans, at an organic fair, at the electronic music festival, among traditional flavors and in many other ways!
ICE - Icecream Cool Experience
Let's start with the interesting inauguration of one new ice-cream shop that everything seems to be but a banal copy of the many others present in the Neapolitan territory. Icecream Cool Experience opens on the seafront of Bagnoli, in via Nisida, and is preparing to offer a very special service.
La evening starts at 20.30 and ends at 00.00. The owners will offer prosecco, drinks and their tasty ice cream. They will also serve brioche filled with ice cream and even fried staples on the spot. At about 23.00, Icecream Cool Experience will open a special cake made by the famous Giada Baldari of Sugar Queen. The event will be accompanied by the dj set by Fulvia Irace.

Wine & The City
Wine & Thecity, the seventh edition of the event dedicated to wine. Events, tastings, meetings, themed exhibitions, concerts, parties and DJ sets will overwhelm many locations in Naples. The event will take place from 20 to 24 May 2014, so it will also touch the weekend.

If you lost the chance to jump on one during the last week vintage wasp to visit the hills and vineyards of Posillipo, you cannot miss the appointment that is repeated also for this weekend. XCat Offshore Skydive, a challenge between catamarans
The motonautica sports tournament arrives on the Lungomare di Napoli. The XCAT World Series 2014 Offshore World Championship is considered one of the most extreme races: it will compete powerful catamarans able to speed over the waters at the speed of 120 miles per hour. A show not to be missed that will give a new face to our Naples, which is now multifaceted.

CeBio, the biological fair
Lovers of healthy and genuine food will probably have already marked this appointment on the agenda. The Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples will host the CeBio, the expo dedicated to natural, organic and gluten-free food. The fair will be held on 25 and 26 May.

Don't touch Naples
The Baths of Agnano host the new one electronic music festival “Don't touch Naples”. The slogan chosen for this year is "Hands off Naples" and, as always, the event will try to redeem once again our beloved city that has been attacked too many times. Through music, the predictable stereotypes that grip and suffocate Naples will be fought. Starting from 16:00 national and international artists will perform: Fabio Grillo, Tuccillo, Jimpster, Markus Fix, Claudio Coccoluto, Dj Pierre and Madato!

Contromarket, the vintage and handmade market
A weekend also dedicated to alternative shopping. If you love walking among stalls, you can take a trip to the "Contromarket". A market of vintage and local crafts and many other original items. The exhibition will be organized on Saturday 24 May at the La Controra Hostel (via Salvator Rosa).

Esedra fountain show at the Island of the Passions
Every weekend the Mostra d'Oltremare, which has become Isola delle Passioni, organizes the evocative spectacle of the Esedra fountain. Water games and colors will take place every weekend and as a result this Saturday or Sunday you can visit the Show to see the fountain of the Esedra in full activity.

Dog marathon. Stop the abandonment of animals
The first leg of "Advantix Running", a particular one, is held in Naples marathon of dogs inside the Villa Comunale to raise awareness of the difficult problem of abandoning animals. A race to highlight the issue and to raise money that will be donated to non-profit associations involved in animal welfare. Inside the villa will be set up a village for dogs, with more than 20 stands.
