Non-stop service for Metro Line 1, Central and Chiaia Funicular and interchange parking lots, for the 2016 New Year in Naples
For the New Year's Eve 2016 in Naples, public transport will carry out an extension of the service, to allow citizens and tourists to participate in the events to be held in Piazza del Plebiscito and on the Lungomare.
In particular the Subway 1 Line, the Central and Chiaia Funiculars and interchange parking lots they will remain open from the night of 31 December 2015 until the morning of 1 January 2016.
Subway 1 Line
Will remain open all night until 13.00 1 X January 2016.
The service on the first day of the year is suspended after the last runs departing from Piscinola at 12.30 and from Garibaldi at 13.00.
The circulation resumes after a short afternoon break with the train departing from Piscinola at 16.51 and from Garibaldi at 17.31 to end with the last run from Piscinola at 22.22 and from Garibaldi at 23.02.
Central and Chiaia Funiculars
They will remain open until 13.00 1 January 2016 hours.
After an afternoon break, the rides resume at 16.30 until the 23.30. For the Funiculars of Montesanto and Mergellina instead of Thursday 31 December the last race is at 19.40. On January 1 the two plants reopen regularly at 7.00 in the morning and close to the public after the last 13.00 race.
Interchange parking spaces
The car parks of the Metropolitan 1 Metro Line, Colli Aminei, Frullone and Chiaiano, and those of Brin and Spalti Maschio Angioino, will remain open all night long
Il 1 January there will be a short afternoon closure of the structures from 13: 30 to 16: 30.
Road lines (tram, bus, trolleybus)
Il 31th December the service is suspended from 20: 00 (last departures from terminus to 19: 00 ca).
Il 1 January 2015 races run regularly with only the afternoon break set by 13.30 hours at 16.30.
Second meter exits
The second exits of Rione Alto, Montedonzelli and Montecalvario they remain closed to the public from the 24 December 2015 to the 10 January 2016. The only Montecalvario exit is open to the public on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 on January 2016.
