Sergio Caputo will be in concert at the Palapartenope to celebrate the 30 years of his first album
The Roman singer-songwriter Sergio Caputo celebrates, this year, the 30th anniversary of the release of the album that gave him his success, “Un Sabato italiano”, and has decided to celebrate the event with an ad hoc tour called “30 years”.
The scheduled dates are many and include a stop at the Palapartenope of Naples, the 20 December 2013.
Caputo's style ranges from pop to jazz, passing through swing, even though in recent years he has dedicated himself almost exclusively to the jazz. His lyrics are often imbued with melancholy and irony and during his career he has frequently made use of the collaboration of other good musicians, especially jazz musicians, such as drummer Roberto Gatto and American saxophonist-clarinetist Tony Scott.
His tour will offer his latest studio work live, a remake of the album that 30 years ago was a springboard for him and which he decided to title "An Italian Saturday 30".
