The year is coming to an end, but we still have a couple of weekends in store for us to participate in interesting free events in Naples, our wonderful city full of initiatives.
Over the weekend from the 18 20 2015 December you can choose between different types of events, especially those dedicated to Christmas. In Acerra you will not only be able to get acquainted with Santa Claus, but a real one will be set up Village of Pulcinella, to honor one of our most significant characters.
Among the exhibitions, Controluce continues on the history of the last 20 of Naples, while lovers of sacred music cannot miss the free concerts in the beautiful Cloister of Santa Maria La Nova. And again, theIndieMarket will give space to young Neapolitan artisans, present with all their creations.

Exhibitions
Masterpieces of the Metropolitan City
Paintings and sculptures by famous artists who tell the story history of the Provincial Authority, and of our city, as well as of the beautiful Palace of Portici. Works of art that can be admired in an exhibition created within the initiative "We illuminate the monuments inside and out".

Backlight 1991-2014
The exhibition Controls exposes important photographs and images on the most significant moments for our city of the past 20 years. It will be possible to observe the shots of Pino Daniele's funeral, which took place almost a year ago, and those of the fire that destroyed part of Città della Scienza.

Concerts in the sacred places
In some of the most beautiful churches in Naples, every weekend of the Advent period, traditional songs dedicated to the nativity and to the Virgin Mary. These are free concerts that will immerse us fully in the atmosphere of the Christmas holidays.

Other events
Bus Theater
An original initiative that provides shows, live music, theater, street performers, acrobatic dances and much more in one bus that will stay in for a few days Piazza del Gesù. The event, entitled “MACADAM -– Festival of traveling arts, combines ancient and modern, stillness and movement, travel and discovery.

Free drawing workshop
The renowned French artist Caroline Peyron will hold free design workshops in some of the most important museums in Naples and the theme of each meeting will be the still life. In this way, it will be possible to learn how to draw and to deepen the relationship with the art of drawing and that inside museums.

IndieMarket
The market for design andlocal crafts, where the most talented artisans of Naples will be able to show off their original works. The tour between the stands will be accompanied by music in the background and there will be a chance to sip one drink, choosing the Christmas gift you prefer.

Christmas village Gloria
It is the Christmas Village most loved by children, not only because they can meet Santa Claus in person and give them the letter, but also because they will be able to visit all the recreated Christmas areas. There will be the House of Santa Claus, thePolar area, Santa's Station and will also be able to stroll in the wood full of waterfalls, trees and animals.

Christmas in Secondigliano
Also the Secondigliano district in Naples was festively decorated hosting the Christmas event in Secondigliano. There will be many buskers to entertain visitors and you can visit the local craft stalls and the crib exhibition set up for the occasion.

Christmas markets with Village of Pulcinella
Special guest of the Christmas markets of Acerra will be Pulcinella. In fact, in his honor, a real village has been set up, and the museum dedicated to its history can also be visited. Children will also be able to meet Santa Claus making him read his letter and participate in creative workshops.
