Green Pass in Campania at school and on transport: what changes from 1 September

From 1 September the Green pass will be also mandatory for schools and transport. This is what the Government has decided with the new Decree in order to limit the spread of Coronavirus and the increase in Covi cases as much as possible.

In fact, in addition to the vaccination campaign, the Green Pass is becoming more and more one fundamental tool in daily life of all of us and the Government is investing heavily in this Green Certification which will have to be shown for many indoor and outdoor activities.

The Green Pass in schools

With the start of schools, therefore, it will be mandatory for teachers and school staff to have the Green Pass: they will have to possess it and show it to enter the school. The lack of possession of the document will be considered as unjustified absence. On the fifth day of absence, the employment relationship will be suspended, the salary will not be paid, as well as no other remuneration, and an alternate will be called. There will also be penalties for employees and school leaders with fines ranging from 400 to 1000 euros.

Instead, the Green Pass it is not mandatory for students of schools, but it is for students university to go to class and to take exams.

The new anti-Covid rules at school

The obligation remains wear the mask, except for children under 6 years old. You can waive the use of the mask only if they participate alone in the lessons vaccinated or cured students. In addition, those who cannot wear the mask for health reasons are exempt as they suffer from certain pathologies. In this case, they must hold a certification from a healthcare facility.

The Green Pass on transport

As for transport, from 1 September the Green Pass will be mandatory su planes, ships, interregional ferries, except for the Strait of Messina, sui trains High Speed, Intercity, Intercity Night, on buses that connect more than two Regions, on rental buses with driver excluding those additional to the local and regional public service. At the moment there is no obligation for local buses and metro, therefore those of the cities, nor for regional trains. In any case, in all means of transport, it is always mandatory to wear masks and maintain the interpersonal distance of one meter.

Green Pass by plane

Il Green Pass will be mandatory for domestic flights, while it was already necessary for flights to Europe. We remind you that a single dose of vaccine is not enough for travel to the EU because in Europe the document is valid only 14 days after completing the vaccination cycle. For travel to Italy, a dose of vaccine is enough or being cured of Covid or having a swab with negative results.

All 'outside of European countriesinstead, the rules change according to the destination country.

Green Pass on ships and ferries

The document will be mandatory to get on ships and ferries that make interregional transport. If the vehicle connects two places that are in the same Region, it will not be necessary to have the Green Pass. The only one exception is the Strait of Messina because, even if it connects two different regions, it is not necessary to have a Green Pass to get on the ferries that cross it.

Green Pass on trains

You will have to show the Green Pass on Intercity, Intercity Night and High Speed ​​trains, that is, the Trenitalia Frecce and the Italo trains. It is not compulsory for regional trains even if they travel between different regions.

Green Pass on buses

The Green Certification will be mandatory to get on buses that carry out a service on a continuous or periodic basis in two or more Regions. The obligation also applies to rental buses with driver, except those that deal with additional local and regional public transport services.

Subways and city buses

At present for local transport there is no obligation of the Green Pass, therefore it must not be shown on city and regional buses and metro.

The exceptions for public transport

They are exempt from showing the Green Pass on airplanes, trains, buses, ships and ferries i minor 12 years, given that they are excluded from the vaccination campaign for reasons of age, e those who cannot get vaccinated for health reasons. The latter must be in possession of a medical certification that meets the criteria of the Ministry of Health.

Green pass in museums and restaurants

Il Green Pass is also mandatory in museums And in the restaurants indoors. The Green Certification will be required to eat at the table, always respecting the maximum number of 6 people who can sit.
