Here are the best pizzerias in Naples and Campania decreed by Gambero Rosso 2021!
The Gambero Rosso like every year draw up a list of best pizzerias in Italy, for this edition among 650 competing pizzerias 93 were the ones chosen around Italy and 19 are pizzerias in Campania, especially Neapolitan, Salerno and Caserta.
The evaluation criteria for choosing the 93 best pizzerias in Italy were based on leavening of the dough, the raw material used and cooking.
For a whole year the inspectors traveled all over Italy and tasted the pizzas in the various Italian places, thus managing to draw up a ranking in order to assign the Three slices divided into category planned for the tender.

- Pizza, with 39 award-winning pizzerias
- Italian pizza, with 20 winners
- Tasting pizza, with gourmet ingredients and 26 award-winning
- Pizza in baking tin, indicated with Three wheels and with 8 winners

Other awards
Other pizzerias in Campania have also been awarded, The Masardona of Naples in fact received the award for the best pizza by the slice, while the award for the mastery in the processing of the dough and in the leavening went to Francesco Martucci de The Masaniellis in Caserta.
The award for the best Neapolitan pizza proposal went to Villa Giovanna in Ottaviano for Fil.Felice or basil pesto, courgette flowers, yellow tomato, Agerola fiordilatte, crispy pecorino wafer, sweet paprika and extra virgin olive oil.
While the best sweet pizza 2021 is there Fried Pastiera with citrus-flavored custard, fiordilatte, chopped toasted hazelnuts, mixed candied fruit and orange zest Pepper in Grains in Caiazzo.
