From the 1 July 2014 summer schedules have entered into force for the 1 Metro Line and for ANM buses in Naples
Like every year, also for this 2014 the transport timetables of Naples suffer from variations to ensure that the offer adapts to the demand for the summer period. All this, despite these variations cause inconvenience as they often imply a reduction in the frequency of train and bus runs.
At the moment, the summer changes in the schedules concern the Line 1 of the subway and the buses of theANM.
Let's see in detail what changes will occur.
1 meter line
From 7 to 27 July and from 25 August to 7 September 2014
During this time period, the trains of line 1 of the metro will depart every 10 minutes during peak hours, ie from 6.00 to 14.00 and from 18.00 to 21.00.
28 from July to August 24 2014
In this period of time, there will be a single time slot, valid every day, weekdays and holidays, from 6.00 to 23.02 with a frequency of 14 minutes. Furthermore, the second exits Montedonzelli and Rione Alto remain closed.
In any case, the opening of line 1 remains confirmed until two in the morning on Friday and Saturday with the last departure from Garibaldi at 1.32 and from Piscinola at 00.48).
In general, the start and end times of the 1 Line are as follows:
- first and last run from Piscinola at 6.00 - 22.22
- first and last run from Garibaldi 6.20 am - 23.02 pm
7-27 July / 25 August - 7 September
from Piscinola:
- time slot 6.00 / 14.00 runs every 10 '
- time slot 14.00 / 18.03: runs every 12 '
- time slot 18.03 / 21.04: runs every 10 '
- after 21.04: runs every 14 '
from Garibaldi:
time slot 6.20 / 6.40: runs every 20 '
time slot 6.40 / 14.40: runs every 10 '
time slot 14.40 / 18.43: runs every 12 '
time slot 18.43 / 21.44: runs every 10 '
after 21.44: runs every 14 '

from Piscinola
- time slot 6.00 / 22.22: runs every 14 '
from Garibaldi
- time slot 6.20 / 6.40: runs every 20 '
- time slot 6.40 / 23.02: runs every 14 '
ANM
From Tuesday 1 July up to 21 July 2014, the summer timetable for the surface lines will be as follows:
- Line 140BR is called line 640 (to make it easier for users to distinguish from 140). Lines C21 - C11 - C14 - C3 - C35 - C7 - C71 - 79 - 172 are suspended until 174 July. Lines C5 - C24 - C27 - C56 - C59 - 156 - 173 are suspended only on Saturdays and holidays. Lines C13 and C32 are replaced by line 532
- The 3 and C36 lines are suspended on holidays. The C40 line is replaced by the 540 line to guarantee connection with the cemetery area
