Saturday 1 July 2017 is suspended the night extension of Metro line 1 and Funicular of Chiaia. Here are the ordinary times.
Bad news arrives for travelers who on Saturday night rely on the night time extension of the subway line 1 and Naples Funiculars. In fact, on the evening of1 July 2017 extension will not be guaranteed due to lack of personnel available to perform the extraordinary shift.
This was communicated by the ANM company, so both the metro and the Chiaia funicular will not run the service until 2.00 in the morning, but will conclude the activity according to the ordinary working hours. We remember that the Central Funicular is still closed to the public.
Furthermore, for the whole summer period it will be suspended the Friday evening extension.
Underground timetable 1 line
According to the weekdays, the metro will perform the following service:
- first and last run from Garibaldi: 6.20 / 23.02
- first and last run from Piscinola: 6.00 / 22.29
Chiaia Funicular timetable
The Funicular will carry out the following service:
- 6.30-0.30
Enhanced buses
To make up for the lack of nighttime extension, i will be strengthened N3 night buses (Vomero-Dante-Municipio-Garibaldi) e N8 (Scampia-Dante-Hall-Garibaldi).
