Closed on the whole line the 1 metro line of Naples because of the heavy snow that is falling!
13 hours update: the 1 meter line is back to normal
La metro 1 line of Naples is closed on the entire route today Monday 27 February 2018 for bad weather and the strong snow. In addition to disruptions related to buses that are totally suspended and delays of Cumana and Circumvesuviana, the metro is also helping to block mobility in the city.
Furthermore, all the schools have been closed, as communicated by the Municipality.
ANM has communicated the information on its Facebook page so it is not possible to use the metro on the entire route from Garibaldi to Piscinola. For Funicular there are no interruption warnings yet, so they work regularly.
The weather forecast brings snow until about 10.00, so presumably at least until that time there will still be inefficiencies and stops for buses and subways.
The snow is really covering and whitening Naples, a very unusual situation for our city that is not used to this kind of show.
