Enhanced public transport in Naples during the Christmas holidays. More buses, two parking lots and shuttles to reach the center
On the occasion of the Christmas celebrations in the city of Naples there will be more public transport, thanks to a collaboration between the Anm and the Municipality.
The strengthening of urban transport mainly concerns the bus of the Anm, the establishment of two parking spacesie of special shuttles that will allow tourists and citizens to move more easily to reach the historic center in weekend from 7 December 2013 to 6 on January 2014 and on New Year's Eve, avoiding the use of cars as much as possible.
The two interchange parking lots of the new “Christmas road system” will be the Brin parking and Stadio San Paolo. From here a series of shuttles and buses will depart for the center of Naples.
From the Brin Parking
La C57 line will connect this parking with via Duomo (De cumani)
Il trolleybus 203 will connect the Brin car park with Via Foria.
The line of tram number 4 it will be upgraded to better connect the San Giovanni - Brin - Municipio areas
From the San Paolo Stadium car park
La line 151 will connect this parking with Piazza Municipio and Piazza Garibaldi
Historic Centre
The will also be strengthened C55 line which connects the areas of the Piazza Cavour - Dante - Bovio - Duomo section.
From Vomero
The will be strengthened internal circular V1 to connect the Vomero to San Martino
The will be prolonged C35 line for connections with San Martino.
Funiculars and Subway Line 1
Extended service until 1: 30 in the following weekends:
- And 7 8 December 2013
- And 14 15 December 2013
- And 21 22 December 2013
- And 28 29 December 2013
- 4 and 5 January 2014
New Year's night
Central and Chiaia Funicular and 1 Line of the Metro open during the night of Capodanno.
You can buy the Tickets of travel at special kiosks set up at the Brin car park, in Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza Municipio.
