On the occasion of European Museum Night, which this year is celebrated on Saturday July 3 2021, it will be possible to access in the evening, in a completely extraordinary way, the Castle of Baia and the Flavian Amphitheater of Pozzuoli, cultural sites that are part of the Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields.
For these special admissions the ticket will be at a special and symbolic cost of 1 €. Do not miss the opportunity to visit two of the most beautiful sites in our area.
The Flavian Amphitheater of Pozzuoli
Visiting the Flavian Amphitheater of Pozzuoli you can walk, equipped with torch, along a suggestive path in the dark, which will lead you into the basement of the Roman structure, right there where once the gladiators waited their turn to enter the arena.
Thanks to special monitors that have been installed you will be able to see images and listen to animal sounds, the noises of swords and the screams of the crowd, for a real journey through time.
The program includes 8 entrances for 20 visitors each, the first entry will be at 21:00 while the last one will be at 23:20. A reservation is required.
The Castle of Baia
A special visit to the Castello di Baia will allow you to admire the new lighting system that will illuminate the Terrace and the room dedicated to the Rione Terra. Furthermore, the first volume of Puteoli, Cumae, Minesum. Journal of Studies and News of the Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields.
The entrance will be possible starting from hours 20:00 with a maximum of 30 people every 15 minutes until 22:15 pm. A reservation is required.
