Il public transport in Naples is enriched with new trains, we are talking about the subway line 1 that is preparing to welcome 20 trains in total. I first 10 they are already in Naples, the remainder is under construction.
The design of the new trains
The new trains of the subway 1 Line of Naples were presented to citizens during a report of TG3 Campania. They consist of blue seats that pay homage to the meter of art and Vesuvius. They will have a capacity of 1200 passengers and will be equipped with very advanced technologies, they will be much safer and certainly less noisy than the current ones.
One of the new means, already in the month of August 2022, it has been put into pre-operation to test the running-in and the final commissioning will take place in the coming months.
This is only one of the various innovations concerning the subway line 1, in fact they will open shortly two new stations in addition to the reopening of the University stop, closed to the public due to some paving works.
