Many events for Easter 2016 with the program of "Naples city that surprises" in squares, churches and monuments!
"Naples city that surprises”Is the title of the program initiatives for Easter promoted by the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Naples and which will take place 18 from March to April 2 2016.
The events organized will be numerous and are aimed at both citizens and the many tourists who will arrive in the city during the Easter period. All appointments will be in the name of art and culture to enhance our value even further historical and cultural heritage and will involve symbolic places of Naples and monuments of great importance.
From the streets to the squares, as Piazza Plebiscito, luoghi such as Convent of San Domenico Maggiore, the Casina Pompeiana, the Palace of the Arts of Naples and the Complex of the Real Casa Santa dell'Annunziata with its suggestive Succorpo, the events will be organized together with associations and cultural and tourist operators.
There will be concerts, theater show, video mapping on monuments, readings, religious events and exhibitions, for a calendar that will also focus on our intangible heritage.

Fantastic liturgies of the Holy Week
The Neapolitan Music Academy organizes this review by giving a unpublished view of the Easter celebrations. There will be 5 evenings each dedicated to a different theme. From Estaba the Mother of Oscar Prize Luis Bacalov on the mothers of Argentine desaparecidos, alla Way of the Cross with the 14 Stations of Christ with parallel paths that follow the philosophy of Jung, passing through the original pictographic score by Sylvano Bussotti. Furthermore, on Easter day, the Resurrection by Georg Friedrich Handel and the day of Monday in Albis will be projected the musical fairy tale by Peter Gabriel. Bell and Sonus
La Campana and Sonus review is organized by Percussioni Ketoniche with the Pontifical Marinelli Foundry of Agnone who will stage the bells and focus on new methods of sound production. The symbolic value of the bells will make this concert even more captivating because they have the "power" of "to bind all men in a common feeling and in a universal emotional and religious expression". Also, they are a very unique musical instrument and will be played 25 bronze bells beatings with different types of knockers. Again, consult the program below for more information.
