Our advice on the new ones festivals of this weekend which is about to begin and which will give us many delicacies, like every week.

From January 27 29 2023 to, in various villages and municipalities in Campania we can participate in the Festival of friariello, at the Fair of chocolate, at the Feast of beer and chocolate as well as the famous Manchester beer tour which stops off in our region.

The Chocolate Fair is back in Vico Equense with Choco Italia: January 2023

The artisan chocolate appointments continue, after having spoken to you and announcing the arrival of Chocoland in Vomero, we now move on to a new stage marked by Choco Italia in Sorrento. It will take place in Vico Equense from 28 to 31 January 2023, with free admission from 10 to 24.

The Manchester Beer tour stops in Campania: international tasting

A new honor is conquered by Campania, but this time it's not about its gastronomic offer, but about craft beer. The well-known 'The Hops' brewery in Ponte, in the province of Benevento, has been chosen as the only stop in Campania by the famous English brewery Wander Beyond Brewing for the tasting of their beers.

Feast of San Ciro in Vico Equense: chocolate and fried pizzas in the square from 28 January

The Sorrento peninsula is preparing to welcome various events to celebrate the two patron saints of Vico Equense. We have already told you about the Choco Italia tour which will also bring the artisan chocolate fair to Sorrento, but during these days of celebrations good food will not only be represented by chocolate, but also by other events that will take place for the big occasion.

There Squacqualacchiun & The tomacelle festival in Teora (AV)

In Teora we begin to celebrate Carnival with the typical “There Squacqualacchiun", that is men with costumes and masks who wander around the village, between the districts, to give "annoyance" to the various passers-by. When they arrive in the center of the village they start an impromptu dance around "lu straw", i.e. the bonfire and also around the main fountain. In this way the magical rite is accomplished.
An event not to be missed also to taste the tomacelle, typical meatballs of the country!
