On March 8, 2017 there will be a 24-hour strike of metro line 1, buses and funiculars in Naples. Here are the guaranteed bands.

Update at 10.00 am on 8 March 2017: ANM announces that the metro, funiculars and lifts are currently regular and not on strike.

Under the big general strike of 8 March 2017, even the employees of ANM transport vehicles in Naples will cross their arms for 24 hours.

Specifically, the strike, called by the USB (Union of Basic Trade Union) will involve the subway line 1, the trams, the funiculars, buses and trolley buses. As always, the minimum services will be guaranteed with specific time slots for each category of vehicle.

 

Recall that there will also be there strike of Cumana, Circumvesuviana and MetroCampania NordEst.
Below, the times of the guaranteed bands.

Bus, tram and trolleybus

The service will be guaranteed by 5.30 to 8.30 and 17.00 to 20.00. Furthermore, the last departures will take place 30 minutes before the start, while everything will return to normal operation approximately 30 minutes after the end of the strike.

Subway 1 line

The times of the last races before the start of the strike:

  • from Piscinola to 9.14
  • from Garibaldi to 9.18

In the afternoon, during the period of suspension of the strike, the first departures will be:

  • from Piscinola to 17.29
  • from Garibaldi to 18.09

The last race before the strike resumed:

  • from Piscinola to 19.44
  • from Garibaldi to 19.48

Funicular

Le Funiculars of Montesanto, Chiaia and Mergellina they will stop the 9.20 races. The first races in the break will resume at 17.00 and the last ones will be at 19.50.
