50 minutes to Capodimonte

With "50 minutes to Capodimonte ", you can take advantage of interesting free guided tours where you can visit the rooms and the works of the "French decade "(1806-1815) . The route is titled and dedicated to the great Murata and it will show how important the contribution of the king and his wife was Carolina Bonaparte. The guided tour is the thematic continuation of the historical-celebratory exhibition dedicated to Murat, set up at Royal Palace.

When: finto 31 October 2015. The visits will not take place on Wednesdays and every first Sunday of the month (7 June, 5 July, 2 August, 6 September, 4 October).

The Night of Pliny at the excavations of Herculaneum

It will again be possible to visit, until the September 13 excavations of Herculaneum at night with the return of the great theatrical event La Night of Pliny that will lead you to an ancient city between virtual reality, archeology and plays of light. Thanks to this event you can also take a look at the Suburban Baths, which preserve many testimonies of theeruption of Vesuvius of 79 AD and almost intact and characteristic environments of that era. You can also admire the multimedia installations of Herculaneum mosaics and take a break in the most important houses, such as the Casa dello Skeleton, the Casa del Salone Nero up to the Terrace of Marco Nonio Balbo, a beloved Roman patron. The actor Iervolino, protagonist of “La Notte di Plinio”, will interpret a love monologue by the poet Pliny, witness of the tragic event.

Guided visits at night to the Temples of Paestum and Minori

"From sunset to dawn at the Temples of Paestum and Minori", and the event that will allow you to make interesting nighttime guided tours at the Archaeological excavations of Paestum and the Roman Villa of MinoriThe program will be divided into two guided Grand Tours: the first, entitled "Moon storytellers", which will lead the participants through a three-dimensional sound path that will begin at dawn. The second journey, entitled "Imperium" and will instead be dedicated to the timeless beauties of the Roman Villa of Minori, and will allow to know and relive the daily life of the ancient Romans, told through a musical drama.

The Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism has planned theevening opening of the Neapolitan museums. Four museums between Naples and Campania will join the initiative, with paid admission and the possibility of visiting from 20.00 am to 24.00 pmThe purpose of the event is to make museums more accessible by offering wider and more flexible opening hours. Here are the museums that you can visit in the evening:
il National archeologic museum and Museum of Capodimonte, the Royal Palace of Caserta, the National Archaeological Museum of Paestum and Archaeological Park, i Ruins of Pompeii and the excavations of Herculaneum.

Exhibition on Murat at the Royal Palace

At the Royal Palace until September 29 an extraordinary exhibition awaits you, dedicated to the great king of Naples Murat and entitled "Murat King of Naples, at charge step". An original way to celebrate the bicentenary of the death of Gioacchino Murat, brother-in-law of Napoleon Bonaparte, from whom he was appointed king of Naples in 1806. The exhibition will show 150 pieces, mostly belonging to collections of French museums, loans made possible by the collaboration with the Consulate General of France in Naples. In addition, it will be possible to admire other precious objects such as miniatures, porcelains, engravings e paintings from the Musée de l'Armée, the Fondation Napoleon in Paris and the Napoleonic Museum in Rome.

NegroFestival, concerts at the Pertosa-Auletta Caves

The "NegroFestival 2015 - Roots, music with an ancient future " will take place in the fascinating setting of the Pertosa-Auletta Caves. This year the theme that the artists will have to follow is  roots in relation to the song, the memory and the future. The artists will perform in personal interpretations of the songs related to the vocal and mocking tradition. There will also be guests of great importance such as the great artist Francesco De Gregori. Friday 21 August the theme of the evening will be  Suggestion The roots and the song, guest of honor of the evening will be the great De Gregori. Saturday, among the most anticipated, the performance of the Archipelago of Tammorre and Putipù, while Sunday there will be among the many artists also Les Tambours du Bronx.

The review Laugh 2015, The Maschio Angioino,will host the Laughter 2015 review with varied program of shows, that will bring to the stage the tradition, the musical, the operetta, the cabaret, the theater for children, with the faces most appreciated by the public. There will be room for comedy, cabaret and much more. On Friday and Saturday to brighten your evenings there will be Benedetto Casillo with "Da Petito al Cabaret". 2015 Eggplant Festival

The highly anticipated Festa della Melanzana, this year will be held at the beautiful hamlet of Preazzano, in Vico Equense. The whole evening will be centered on the eggplant, loved by many cooking and culinary art experts. The public will be able to taste it in all its nuances of flavor: in batter, mushroom-shaped, made into meatballs. But among the many preparations, the most unusual is the aubergine with chocolate. To embellish the evening, concerts and various entertainment that will take place in the square, while in Via Ferraria will take place "village of young artisans ", a set of stages to stop and admire and buy local artisan products and food.

Classic Contemporary, Theater at the Cloister of San Domenico Maggiore

Classic Contemporary, will fill your last summer days by leading you inside the suggestive Cloister of San Domenico Maggiore, with shows that will combine the theater of the great classical authors, of the past but also of the present, with original and unpublished directorial reinterpretations. There will be very interesting reinterpretations of Aristophanes, Shakespeare, Moliere, Pirandello, Schmidt, Ibsen, Cechov, Petito, Viviani, Eduardo and many others. Friday 21st, at 21:30 pm Passini In Cantate will be waiting for you with Patrizia Spinosi and Maurizio Murano. The event presents a program of Famous movie 28, in projection throughout the summer months. Among the other appointments on the calendar there will be as many important films including, Fifty Shades of Gray, Noi e la Giulia, Cinderella, Interstellar, San Andreas, Miracles are accepted and many other big screen successes. On Friday and Saturday, in particular, you can enjoy the screening of one of the funniest films of 2015: "Miracles are accepted ".  "Cinema around Vesuvius" aims to enhance and promote cinema in the eastern suburbs of Naples, counting over 20000 admissions a year. At the screening there will also be  special events, debates, meetings with important names of entertainment and culture, children's films and national previews. On Friday 21, Fifty shades of gray will be screened, while on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23, there will be the great action film: San Andreas.

Summer 2015 at the Agnano Hippodrome

With Summer 2015 at the Agnano Racecourse you can watch the spectacular performances of horses galloping on the track under the stars or enjoy the coolness of the park by participating in various leisure activities such as gastronomic festivals, antique markets, games and entertainment for children. There will also be numerous gastronomic points, where to drink craft beer and taste an appetizing wood-fired pizza with a few euros. For those who want something less demanding can take advantage of the snack bar "di corsa da Mimì" or take advantage of the refreshment service on the terrace of the 'Partenope' roof garden with a view of the running tracks.
