Many events in Naples for this weekend: concerts, shows, exhibitions, tourism, jazz and chocolate!
On the third weekend of March, there are many events organized in Naples during the weekend from 18 to 20 in March 2016. For the father's day, cultural activities, food, music and more will not disappoint expectations.
In the cultural field it will open, in an extraordinary way, the Girolomini Library, too often mistreated and mistreated. They come back FAI Spring Days for a weekend with open doors to the various cultural sites of Naples and, to these, is added the Accessible Tourism Day for the disabled, the elderly and families in difficulty. Among the shows, there will be a chance to visit the San Severo Chapel and get to know all the secrets of Prince Raimondo di Sangro with theatrical tours, while at Teatro Cilea Virginia Raffaele will welcome its audience in the guise of various famous people.
A cascade of artisanal chocolate arrives on the seafront of Salerno, with the event Chocolate Days, already in its second edition, while Ercolano will be colored white with the White Night of Memory.
There are no shortage of them musical events which will be developed between concerts by emerging bands, the Bagnoli Jazz Festival and the concert by Francesca Michielin.

Cultural events in Naples
Opening of the Girolamini Library
Waiting for spring, the Library of Girolamini will open to members FAI. Present since the end of the 500th century, the Library is made up of private donations and unfortunately over the years it has remained closed as some works have been stolen. The goal is to make it public at least one day a month.

Accessible Tourism Day
We are on the third weekend of the month, the weekend of accessible tourism, thanks to Cosyforyou European project. This project is dedicated to the disabled who will be able to visit the city by taking advantage of accompanying services for travel. For this month we will give value to the Neapolitan flora and the views of the city, with a visit to the tree-lined avenues of the Botanical Garden and the Museum of Villa Pignatelli.

Exhibition on the painting of the '600
The pictorial art of the Neapolitan seventeenth century arrives at Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano, with an exhibition dedicated to Jusepe de Ribera and to his followers. Influenced by Caravaggio, his art was characterized by the chiaroscuro of the works and the masterpiece that will be the spearhead of the show is the Santa Caterina, the pictorial wonder that best expresses his skill.

Senzatomica
Throughout the month of March 2016, Castel Sant'Elmo will host Senzatomica, a free exhibition to raise awareness on the issue of the public nuclear army. The goal is to make people understand the importance of the damage that a nuclear weapon could do and how the world could be if these weapons did not exist. During the exhibition there will be various events: multimedia performances, debates, concerts etc.

FAI Spring
At the 24th edition, the FAI Spring Days project is back. This weekend, palaces, churches and archaeological sites will open their doors for a weekend at discovery and rediscovery of Naples and visitors can have the guidance of many volunteers of the FAI for information, stories and anecdotes about places to see.

The Stone Testament
Another appointment at the Cappella Sansevero with the Stone Testament. It is a show that tells the mysterious story of the Prince Raimondo di Sangro between history, alchemy and legends, with the possibility of visiting the marvelous Veiled Christ, the sculptures of the Chapel and the Anatomical Machines with their circulatory system still intact.

Virginia Raffaele at the Teatro Cilea
This weekend the Teatro Cilea will give many laughs with the various performances of Virginia Raffaele. The actress will impersonate several famous characters: Belen Rodriguez, Carla Fracci and many others. Already in Sanremo she has been the protagonist of various performances and, in Naples, she will accompany her art with games of mirrors and video projections.

Show Myth and Nature
At the start of the exhibition Myth and Nature al National Museum of Naples and at the same time, ai Ruins of Pompeii. It is an exhibition with rare elements that recount the nature seen by Greek and Roman artists. The pieces on display at the Museum, about 180, come from various structures around the world; while the Scavi will be organized a route divided into 6 domus.

Chocolate Days
Back to Salerno the Chocolate Days, the festival dedicated to homemade chocolate. There will be many confectionary specialties to taste, all with artisan products of excellent quality. Visitors can also participate in laboratories and collect information about the beneficial properties chocolate ... especially the antidepressants!

Bagnoli Jazz Festival
At its third edition, the Bagnoli Jazz Festival returns to the Vineapolis winery. On the stage outside, the various artists will pay homage to the art of the Bolognese jazz player Gino Evangelista, died prematurely. The goal, again this year, is to enhance the Bagnoli district with its scenic beauty and restore cultural value to everything it can offer.

NapoliSona
This weekend, at the House of Music, a concert will take place with several thick guests and local emerging bands. Guests of exceptions will be Enzo Avitabile, Tony Esposito, Jovine and Franco Ricciardi. The performances will be accompanied by the contemporary dance performances of the Malaorcula.

White Night in Ercolano
It will be the MAV of Herculaneum to organize the white night, a different night, one Night of Memory, as part of the Festiva della Memoria, in which the concept of memory will be expressed through dance, cinema, music, theater and many tastings. During the evening, which will take place in various places in the city, it will also be possible to visit the MAV and the artistic itineraries inside it for free.

Waiting for Easter in Città della Scienza
Città della Scienza begins in advance to celebrate the Easter and, on this occasion, children will be able to enter for free and participate in the treasure hunt for chocolate eggs. Among the attractions will be theflying show of birds of prey, for adults and children, which will be followed by scientific studies on vultures, owls, hawks and birds in general. There will also be many sports activities.
