New weekend of events in February in Naples: theater shows, night guided tours, exhibitions, workshops and lots of yoga!
A new weekend opens and i events in Naples in the weekend from 19 to 21 February 2016 they can be seen on the horizon with a lot of anticipation and interest.
Let's start with the more specifically cultural ones. At the theater the works of the past will be rediscovered with the Medea of Euripides and the decamerone di Boccaccio, respectively interpreted by Zingaretti and Accorsi. On the occasion of the Day of the Tourist Guide, you will be able to visit different places in Campania in a completely free and under the professional preparation of tourist guides in our area. There will also be archaeological exhibitions and visits to the Solfatara, with a taste of geothermal cuisine.
Events of a nature more connected to entertainment will mainly focus on the yoga lessons in the Neapolitan naturalistic frames, while many free hugs they will wait for the participants in the wonderful Piazza del Plebiscito.

Cultural events in Naples
Night visits to the Solfatara with geothermal cuisine
Evening visits at the Solfatara they are an original and innovative opportunity to welcome the public in an all-round sensory experience. Between true stories mixed with a bit of fantasy, the expert guides will show the participants the place of the Solfatara between history and mythology. After the visit you will be able to taste some food prepared through the geothermal kitchen, that is steamed products of a fumarole at about 160 °. The prepared food will be accompanied by Falanghina wine from Campi Flegrei.

Decameron with Stefano Accorsi
Boccaccio returns to live at the Theater, precisely at the Diana Theater in Naples with the marvelous interpretation of Stefano Accorsi in the shoes of Panfilo. With the direction of Marco Baliani, on the stage there will be several characters: Fiammetta, Pampinea, Dioneo, Elissa and Filostrato. It is one of the most prestigious works of Boccaccio, which unfolds between love, passion and fear, stories that still today are current and modern.

Accessible Tourism Day
Accessible Tourism Day is also held this month. Scheduled every third Sunday of the month, as part of the European project "Cosyforyou“, The disabled will be able to visit the city of Naples through minibuses made available by reservation. The Pride by Luca Zingaretti
The new show of Luca Zingaretti, The Pride. Staged at the Bellini Theater, it is divided into two alternating stories and in two different periods, with the same protagonists in both and with the same names. The two stories will be intertwined, with very similar references and problems. The topics covered are those of love, forgiveness and destiny, but mainly focuses on identities and who we really are.

Medea of Euripides
Directed by Gabriele Lavia, at the Teatro Mercadante will be staged Medea, the tragedy of Eurpide that develops through a series of betrayals of Medea and Jason. Modernized, the tragedy is set in a Corinth of our times in which the burning passion is the common thread of everything. Daniele Pecci will play the role of Jason, while Federica Di Martino will be Medea.

Exhibition by Edoardo Bennato
For the whole month of February, at the Pan di Napoli, Edoardo Bennato he will show himself not as a songwriter, but as an artist with a solo exhibition entitled “Il Cammino”. It consists of paintings that date back to the seventies, with self-portraits in felt-tip pens and black and white shades. The main theme of the entire exhibition is that of migrazione, ie a continuous personal search for a better place to find personal peace.

Meetings of Archeology
New appointments with the Archeology of Naples. Until May 2016, a roundup of artistic events will arrive that will range from photography to music, from exhibitions to archeology, to the discovery and rediscovery of our territory. Free hugs in Piazza Plebiscito
On Sunday 21 February 2016 in Piazza del Plebiscito, free hugs will be given to those who want them. Born from the "Free Hugs" Contact community, the initiative aims to disseminate love for the neighbor against loneliness. The goal is trust and those who participate will be blindfolded just to give up to the next without difficulty, thus canceling any social, political, sexual or skin differences.

Drawing workshops in museums
Already at its sixth edition, the design workshop of Caroline Peyron this year it will take place in its original form: it will be itinerant.
