A new appointment with the weekend column in which we recommend the most interesting free initiatives in the city. In fact, even in the weekend from 10 to 12 March 2017 there will be some free events in Naples not to be missed, both cultural and other events.
Until the end of the month the program of Marzo Donna con shows, films, exhibitions and meetings on the role of women, while in the Palace of Caserta you can visit the Court Theater recently opened. Also in the Royal Palace of Carditello there are guided tours and a few days to Nola to visit the exhibition on Giorgio de Chirico.

March Woman

Exhibition on Giorgio de Chirico
The master of Metaphysics, Giorgio de Chirico, is honored in Nola with an exhibition in his honor that shows his works from the 1933-1974 period. It is about drawings, lithographs, oils and works with mixed techniques that make us discover a different side of the artist, less known than the one best known by the masses. The location is the beautiful church of the Santi Apostoli.

Visits to the Court Theater of the Royal Palace of Caserta
For about a month the Court Theater of the Royal Palace of Caserta has been reopened and every weekend it is possible to visit it for free thanks to Touring Club volunteers that will guide all visitors. It is the first example in the world of a “horseshoe-shaped” theater and is built on the model of the San Carlo.

Visit to the Royal Palace of Carditello
The Palace of Carditello was used as hunting area by Charles of Bourbon and then turned into a farm by Ferdinando IV. Thanks to the recent re-opening it can be visited, both in the external areas with the temple and the racecourse, both in the rooms on the first floor. The building is neoclassical in style.

Women's Day at the Auchan
Women's Day continues at the Auchan Center with the exhibition “Napule is femmena"In which they pay homage ten women who have made the history of Naples. From Sophia Loren to Isa Danieli, through Matilde Serao and Titina De Filippo, we can understand how these figures have improved the various fields in which they were active, from theater to cinema, to journalism.

Flea market at the Hippodrome
At the Agnano Hippodrome, like every Sunday, the famous flea market will take place early in the morning. From 6 to early afternoon, 200 stands will be open with all kinds of products: from technological accessories to antiques, from vinyls to books, from bicycles to used clothes, passing through costume jewelry, wooden sculptures and furnishings.
