International Women's Day, also known as Women's Day, we celebrate the8 March 2017 and there will be many events in Naples to honor the female figure.
The initiatives aim to underline the importance of the role of women in our society and in the city it will be done through a series of cultural events important, like the March Donna review. It is a program of the City of Naples that is divided into shows, concerts, readings and debates with guests and artists.
In state museums, on the other hand, there will befree admission for women and each structure has a program of special visits. Among the other cultural events, two exhibitions on Giorgio de Chirico e Cinderella at the Teatro San Carlo.

Women's Day at the Railway Museum of Pietrarsa

The March Donna review includes a long program of events that will last throughout the month of March and that will focus on the female figure. They will be shows, concerts, initiatives, meetings and debates with the aim of combating gender discrimination.

Show Giorgio de Chirico in Amalfi
The exhibition dedicated to the master of Metaphysics, Giorgio de Chirico, is about to end in Amalfi with a series of works from the period from 1948 to 1976. jobs at the end of his career, but inspired by works of youth.

Show Helmut Newton
Helmut Newton is one of the most important photographers of the 900th century and, in his shots, he mainly studied the female figure. The exhibition at PAN includes more than 200 photographs taken from his first three books with color and black and white images on women, including images of nudes, on which the artist specialized.
