We remind you that also in the month of June there will be many theatrical performances not to be missed thanks to the appointments scheduled for the tenth edition of the Naples Theater Festival, the famous Neapolitan event that this year will be inaugurated the 5 June 2017 dal free concert by Franco Battiato in Piazza del Plebiscito.

Independent entrance
Serena Autieri e Tosca D'Aquino will be staged at the Diana Theater with a funny comedy written by Maurizio de Giovanni which, through small misunderstandings and moments of hilarity, makes us reflect on the reality of their lives and on the true value of relationships.

Happy Auar - Sitcom at the theater
A theater is staged at the Diana Theater theatrical format with aperitif designed to entertain the spectators after work, offering entertainment and during the Italian ritual of the aperitif (hence the “Italianized” name Happy Auar). Also, like sitcoms, this 70-minute theatrical formula brings seriality to the stage, making the audience grow fond and curious about the characters' lives and their stories.

San Ferdinando Theater
Arrevuoto 2017
Twelfth edition of the theater and pedagogy project that operates between the suburbs and the center of Naples with 150 boys and girls.
This year it will be staged "The suicide", a masterpiece of the 900th century written by the Russian Nikolaj Ėrdman and staged for the first time in the Soviet Union in 1928 by Mejerchol'd but, due to Stalinist censorship, only replicated in 1990 after costing its author imprisonment and ostracism. A text that makes us reflect on how we can speculate on the misfortunes of others, such as social injustice or natural disasters, as happens especially in the South.

Death of Danton
Mario Martone directs an interesting show taken from the famous masterpiece of Georg Büchner which tells of the last days of the Terror: the fall of Georges Jacques Danton in the 1794 and the antagonism that opposed him to Robespierre. The text is focused on the contrast between the two protagonists of the French Revolution, first companions and adversaries later, both destined to the guillotine a few days apart from each other.

Teatro San Carlo
La Traviata
"The Traviata" of the great director Ferzan Ozpetek returns to the San Carlo Theater after last autumn's success.
One of the most famous operas taken from the play by Alexandre Dumas "La dame aux camélias ", a melodrama in three acts on a libretto by Francesco Maria Piave was personalized and revisited by moving the action to 1910, in an oriental and fascinating Paris thanks to the scenography of the Oscar Prize Dante Ferretti and with an emotional background music, which changes according to the scenes, emphasizing the pathos, pain and sensuality.

Alice in Wonderland
Massimo Partenopeo will perform an original ballet inspired by the famous novel by Lewis Carroll "Alice in Wonderland" based on an original choreography by Gianluca Schiavoni performed by the San Carlo dance troupe. This show was born on the impulse of the National English Ballet which in 1995 commissioned a ballet based on the story of Lewis Carroll to music by Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij and Aram Ilich Khachaturian.
