During the holidays of Christmas, means of transport ANM perform a reduced service, so there will be different times than usual for meter line 1, bus numbers, tram, trolleybus e Funiculars of Chiaia, Centrale and Montesanto. We remind you that the Mergellina Funicular is closed.
On the days of 24, 25 and 26 December 2021 the vehicles will travel with fewer trips and the end of service times will be earlier than usual, causing some inconvenience to travelers.
Negotiation failed: ANM transport stops at lunchtime on Christmas day
Bitter surprise for the Christmas holidays, the negotiation with the transport company unfortunately failed leading to closing at lunchtime on Christmas day.
A negotiation that lasted for a few weeks has opened a crack on the problem of transport during the holidays, normally active (indeed reinforced) in the main Italian cities, while they appear to be almost halved in Naples.

Metro timetable 1 line

The timetables of the Centrale, Chiaia and Montesanto funiculars follow, unfortunately they too are suspended at lunchtime during Christmas.

The Funicular of Mergellina
During the Christmas holidays, therefore 24 and 25 December, the Mergellina Funicular will be closed and will not even perform half the service like the others.
