If, on the other hand, you love the theater, you cannot miss one of the appointments of Braccial d'Estate (the calendar of shows organized in the Real Orto Botanico), or the San Carlo Opera Festival or the Improvisation Theater of the Improteatro.
But if you love the festivals, you have to do is choose. There sagra de funghi porcino in Torchiati di Montoro Superiore, in prov. of Avellino, every year attracts thousands of people from all over Campania and has now become a regular event and offers a wide variety of menus, of course with dishes based on porcini mushrooms cooked in every way. But the porcini mushroom goes perfectly even with it dumpling, so much so that in Furnolo (province of Caserta) an ad hoc festival will pair these two exquisite dishes.
An excellent alternative for these hot summer days is definitely a cool pic nic in a park or in the mountains; that's why we offer you a list of the best places to relax in the green, prepare a barbecue and eat grilled meat or simply have home-cooked breakfasts. If instead you love the sea, just go to the seafront of Mergellina and buy a ticket to make one trip to Bateau Mouche, especially now that the beautiful days seem to be definitely arrived.
