There are many events that can be experienced in Naples during the8 December 2016 and we want to recommend everything that the city has to offer.
On this day we celebrate the Immaculate Conception, a typically Catholic feast, but we want to offer you many non-religious events, but which will allow you to spend the day in the best possible way.

Cultural events
The hidden treasures by Sgarbi
In the church of Pietrasanta, in the historic center, a very important exhibition begins, curated by Vittorio Sgarbi and which will exhibit 150 masterpieces by at least 100 artists who have made art history, from Tino di Camaino to De Chirico.

Continue the fantastic exhibition of the most important contemporary photographer in the world, Steve McCurry. The theme is i Confini and people from all over the globe are shown, their uncertainties and the obstacles to be faced in tragic situations like the war or emigration.

Vermeer in Capodimonte
One of the masterpieces of the Belgian painter Vermeer, The Woman with Liuto, is on temporary display at the Capodimonte Museum, on loan from the Metropolitan Museum of New York. It is flanked by 4 paintings of the Neapolitan pictorial tradition and by ancient musical instruments.

Stories of toys
In Convent of San Domenico Maggiore there will be an exhibition dedicated to toys from the 700s to the present day, which will show antique, collectible and vintage toys, including Barbie in all its evolutions.

Santa Claus Village at the Mostra d'Oltremare

Christmas Market and Living Nativity
As every year, the traditional living nativity scene, very suggestive, will take place in a school in Licola. It will be accompanied by a Christmas market and you can also visit the archaeological park of the Falcone Agricultural Company.
