Quasi 11 million viewers yesterday they were in front of the TV watching the early evening of Sanremo, a truly remarkable fact that brings the flagship broadcast of RAI to well over 62,4% share.
Un successo per Amadeus che porta a casa un risultato storico: it was in fact from 1995 that such a high percentage was not registered, with a number of users slightly lower to the premiere of 2022.
Fourth edition for the presenter from Ravenna, already confirmed for a fifth edition and given the results, the reason is clear: well 10.757.000 viewers.
The share of Sanremo in recent years
That the black period of Sanremo is abundantly behind us is now an established fact, with the downward peak of 2004 when Simona Ventura was there to present. In that year share plummeted to 29,28% and saw the broadcast beaten by Canale 5 which brought home a 32,26%.
The trend of recent years, however, is clearly rising
- Sanremo 2019, 10.086.000 viewers with a 49,5% share
- Sanremo 2020, 10.058.000 viewers with a 52.2% share
- Sanremo 2021, 8.363.000 viewers with a 46.6% share
- Sanremo 2022, 10.911.000 viewers with a 54.70% share
- Sanremo 2023, 10.757.000 viewers with a 62.4% share
We remind you that the share is the percentage of viewers on a channel compared to the total number of viewers
