The ugly gesture made by Blanco on the Ariston stage continues to cause discussion: the president of the Liguria region, entering the midst of the controversy, personally invited the young singer-songwriter to visit their greenhouses "So you will be able to see with your own eyes the extraordinary commitment and the excellence of our flower growers.”
The wrath of the Sanremos does not subside (and not only) nor the controversies for the bad out of schedule made by Blanco, winner of the 2022 edition of Festival of Sanremo together with Mahmood, during the presentation of The Island of Roses, taken from his new album and co-written with Psalm.
In the last few hours, in addition to many ordinary people and VIPs, who have massively condemned the destruction of the beautiful roses on the part of the singer, the president of the Liguria region, which in an open letter published on Riviera24, thus addressed to Blanco:
“No one touches the flowers of Sanremo! Dear Blanco, behind the scenography of flowers that you lightly destroyed last night there is the history of an entire city and the intense work of our flower growers. This is why I want to personally invite you to visit our greenhouses to see for yourself the extraordinary commitment and excellence of the professionals who carry on a tradition that has become an international heritage and is part of the DNA of Liguria and Sanremo, just like the Festival."
The letter from the president of the Liguria region to Blanco "It is the best example you can give to your peers."
Continuing your letter John Toti underlines that, in this way, he will be able to give the best example to all the kids of his age who love him and follow his music:
"At your age, sometimes mistakes are made but you can always recover and even from mistakes... a flower can be born!"
La destruction of the roses of Sanremo, complete with kicks given by Blanco to the loam in which they had been placed, she was also condemned by Gianni Morandi, that after calming down Blanco and having helped the cleaning ladies to arrange the stage of the Ariston (and complete with a broom), he specified that technical problems can happen and that, in that case, it is sufficient for the singer to stop and warn Amadeus, without destroying everything:
“Technical problems can happen, but that doesn't mean you have to destroy everything and reduce the stage to this state.”
Both of them conductors were very sorry for the destroyed roses (flowers, as we know, are the symbol of Sanremo and, at the end of each performance, they are given to all the singers in the competition) and, the same Amadeus, took a lot of effort to calm the audience in the hall, which was a lot enraged, and it only succeeded when he raised his voice.
