Over the weekend from 6 to 8 January 2017 in Naples many interesting events with exhibitions, shows, visits, concerts and much more!
In first weekend of the month, from 6 to 8 January 2017 in Naples entertainment and fun will be guaranteed. On the occasion ofEpiphany, within the city, various initiatives have been organized in Piazza del Plebiscito, in Castel Sant'Elmo, at the Agnano Hippodrome and in many other places.
To conclude the holidays you can also go to N'Albero on the Lungomare, where you will see the Befana on the water scooter or, if you prefer something different, you can have fun on the Volcano Buono ice rink.
For the fans there will be many art exhibitions of an extraordinary beauty including that of De Chirico in Amalfi, the Fergola exhibition at Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano and Vermeer in Capodimonte. For those who love theater or music we recommend the Sal Da Vinci show at the Augusteo Theater, or the theatrical representation of Misery and nobility at the San Ferdinando theater or the Mandolin concert at the Palazzo Reale.

Show hidden treasures
At the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore at Pietrasanta an exhibition of "The Hidden Treasures" has been set up. Caravaggio, Tino di Camaino, Gemito ". The exhibition will host a hundred works including paintings and sculptures that have characterized the last seven hundred years. Among the artists, in addition to those already mentioned we mention Solimena and De Chirico.

Misery and nobility in the theater
At the San Ferdinando Theater it will be staged by Arturo Scuccimarra “Miseria e Nobiltà”, the comedy, written in Neapolitan by Eduardo Scarpetta in 1887. Among the actors there are Tonino Taiuti and Sabrina Scuccimarra. Who loved the cinematic version interpreted by the great Totò this masterpiece will not be lost.

Sal Da Vinci at the Augusteo Theater
At the Teatro Augusteo Sal Da Vinci will stage "Italian of Naples", His new musical comedy. Festival eruptions
Festival eruptions is one free cultural review which will be held in Ercolano and in other municipalities of the Vesuvian city. The event includes folk shows, music and experimental theater. The 6 January at the Basilica of Santa Maria a Pugliano, in Herculaneum, there will be the soloists of the Orchestra of the Teatro San Carlo in concert.

Fergola exhibition
At the Palazzo Zevallos the first great exhibition dedicated to Salvatore Fergola, the last court painter protagonist of the splendor of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies under the dominion of the Bourbons. The exhibition includes 63 works that come from various museums, including the Museo di Capodimonte and the Museo di San Martino.

Exhibition of De Chirico
In Amalfi, in the Mag Gallery, it will be possible to admire the exhibition entitled "La Reconstruction" by Giorgio De Chirico, the most important exponent of metaphysical painting. The exhibition includes 13 canvases which include subjects already experienced in their youth and which cover the period of time by 1948 to 1976, the period of the painter's old age.

Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro
The Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro houses one of the most precious treasures in the world, richer even than that of the Queen of England. With a ticket of 6 euro you can admire the miter of San Gennaro made with almost 4000 precious stones and the cross of the Saint embellished with hundreds of diamonds and other stones.

Vermeer in Capodimonte

Mandolin concerts at the Royal Palace

Epiphany on N'Albero, the Befana will arrive by water scooter

Feast of the Befana in Naples
For the Feast of the Befana many other initiatives have been organized during which it will be possible celebrate and eat sweets and candies. In Piazza del Plebiscito the Befana will fall from above and will give candy to the little ones. On the Lungomare there will be a party with Befane, street artists and water shows. The program will be held at Città della Scienza fun and educational. At Castel Sant'Elmo, after a guided tour, the Befana will donate sweets to the children. And then again at the Agnano racecourse the pony races, at the Toledo Gallery the soap bubbles circus, at the Museum of Pietrarsa the Mandulinata d'Epifania and many other initiatives.

N'Albero on the waterfront
For Christmas on the waterfront has been raised "N'albero", a tree high about 30 meters. Track on the ice at Vulcano Buono
In the central square of the Vulcano Buono di Nola, returns to the ice rink and promises to entertain children and adults throughout the holiday season. Like last year, the ice rink will be run by the Ice Mad agency, already winner of the Disney Pista Frozen Award and expert in the field.

Treasure hunt in the historic center
“Our game is ninety”, a fun one treasure hunt on the history of the Neapolitan city. The treasure hunt will start from Piazza San Domenico Maggiore and then proceed to the streets of the historic center. Participants will be divided into teams and will have at their disposal a series of clues that will test their knowledge of the city.

Ice crib at Piazza Garibaldi
In Piazza Garibaldi, near the Terminus hotel, a great ice Crib. The nativity scene was carved inside a container by a group of workers who will work on ben 20 tons of ice. A true work of art in which the shepherds will be almost life-size and the huts will be full of details.
