This is the week of Valentine's Day and there are various cultural and romantic initiatives, but it is also the period of the Carnival Celebrations, so there is no shortage of parades and fun.

Cultural events
1Artemisia Gentileschi in Naples, the exhibition dedicated to the Neapolitan period
The beautiful exhibition entitled Artemisia Gentileschi in Naples will take place at the Gallerie d'Italia - Intesa Sanpaolo Museum from 3 December 2022 to 19 March 2023. The exhibition will be dedicated to the long period in which the painter stayed in the Neapolitan city, i.e. from 1630 to 1654, interrupted only by a trip to London between 1638 and 1640.
2Bonelli Story exhibition in Città della Scienza with over 300 works
At Città della Scienza in Naples, from 8 December 2022 to 26 February 2023, you can visit the special exhibition Bonelli Story - Looking at Procida. A sea of comic stories. This is an anthological exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Sergio Bonelli Editore and organized by Sergio Bonelli Editore, Gianni Bono and COMICON, in collaboration with the Campania Region and Città della Scienza.
3Exhibition on the Byzantines at the Mann in Naples: over 400 works on the Millennial Empire
At the MANN, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, a special exhibition arrives that will certainly fascinate the public. We are talking about the Byzantines, places, symbols and communities of a millennial empire.
4Van Gogh in Naples, immersive exhibition. When does it end?
The remarkable immersive exhibition dedicated to Vincent Van Gogh in Naples continues to arouse enthusiasm and interest, registering extraordinary success. With an area spanning more than one thousand square metres, the exhibition offers an exceptional combination of visual projections, sophisticated lighting and sound design, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in Van Gogh's works, all while enjoying the comfort of a deckchair. Thanks to its warm welcome, the exhibition has been extended until 29 October 2023.
5The Teatro dei Piccoli at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples: program of shows
At the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples the special appointment with the new edition of the Teatro dei piccoli is renewed, with a truly rich program of theater, music and dance performances from 6 January and up to May 2023.
6The Art Gate space starts in Capodichino: Emblema on show
A new exhibition has been inaugurated in the departure hall of Naples Airport: “Salvatore Emblema. The Matter of Heaven". The exhibition started on December 23, 2022 and will remain active until March 31, 2023. During the ceremony, among the many personalities, the artist's children were also present, who carry on the Emblema Museum in Terzigno.
7Degas in Naples, in San Domenico Maggiore the exhibition of the painter of the dancers
In 2023 art in Naples starts in fifth grade. In fact, the year will be inaugurated with Edgar Degas with his exhibition "Degas, the return to Naples" in the monumental complex of San Domenico Maggiore. It is no coincidence that we recall that back in 1856 the artist stayed just a few steps away from where his exhibition will be held.
8Archeology meetings at the Mann in Naples with many free appointments
From 27 October to 25 May 2022 the new edition of the Archeology Meetings will take place at MANN, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. This is the XXVIII edition of the cultural review that includes many meetings always on Thursday and all with free admission.
9IABO 20th: the exhibition at the PAN in Naples has been extended due to the great success
A new exhibition, in the name of Street Art, arrives at the PAN in Naples with an artist that we have already been able to admire when the Lungomare became a canvas. The “IABO 27th. Anthological Exhibition 19/20. Street art/Paintings/Installations/Videos“. It will be a free admission event that will welcome visitors until March 2003, 2023 (extended until April 9, 2023)

10Cinema AstroDoc in Naples, free documentary program for students
The XIII edition of Astradoc - Journey into the Cinema of the Real starts at the Cinema Astra in Naples. This is an event that has been repeating itself for some time now, curated by the Arci Movie association in collaboration with the University of Naples "Federico II", Coinor and Parallelo 41 Riproduzioni.

Also this summer we can have fun with the outdoor films of the Drive In in Pozzuoli and enjoy the projections directly from our car.

12Foja in Naples at the Bellini Theater with the new tour: date and tickets
The Foja have trodden, as well as excited, audiences from all over Italy and now they are back with a new tour which will obviously also stop in Naples. The Italian folk-rock band born right in our city awaits you at the Bellini Theater on February 14, 2023.

13Sorrento lights up for Valentine's Day: where are the illuminations
Valentine's Day is a special moment for all those who are in love and this year it will be wonderful to walk around the city of Sorrento. It is precisely here that the Municipality has well thought of making the Valentine's Day even more special by launching the "Sorrento in love" event in the historic center, from Friday 8 to Friday 15 February.
14Valentine's Day in Città della Scienza: the show at the Planetarium and telescope observations
Città della Scienza in Naples is preparing to welcome one of the sweetest and most romantic holidays of the year, or the party of lovers. The appointment to celebrate Valentine's Day together will be Tuesday 14 February 2023 starting at 18:30.
15Naples, Valentine's Day at the Royal Palace: promo If you love me, take me to the museum
On Tuesday 14 February, the Royal Palace of Naples celebrates love by offering all visitors who enter as a couple the possibility of accessing the Historic Apartment with a single ticket. The classic 2×1 is valid throughout the day and obviously, as the historical location points out, the promo is open to everyone, regardless of gender. Opening hours are 9am to 20pm, with last entry at 19pm.
16Valentine's Day at the Pausilypon Archaeological Park with a guided tour at sunset and an aperitif
On the occasion of the feast of Love, Valentine's Day, the Pausilypon Archaeological Park in Naples organized a very special appointment on Tuesday 14 February 2023, it is a suggestive guided tour at sunset, starting at 16:00.
17Pompeii, visit to the Casa Delle Nozze D'Argento under restoration for Valentine's Day
On February 14, on the occasion of Valentine's Day, it will be possible to visit the majestic Pompeian domus full of decorations known as the House of the Silver Wedding. Thanks to the MyPompeii Card, the holders will have the opportunity to take part in extraordinary visits which will retrace in detail all the steps of the restoration site of the House which is nearing completion.

19Ice skating rink in Mugnano, is the largest in the South, as in Disneyland
The beautiful and large ice skating rink located inside the Mugnano Shopping Center was inaugurated on Friday 21 October 2022, a great party that saw the participation of the local dance schools, in addition to the Middle School Orchestra “Illuminato-Cirino” state road.
20MercAntico in Benevento: antiques market and typical products
The historic center of San Lorenzello, located in the province of Benevento, is preparing to host a series of events of great value for the city: the MercAntico. An appointment that is repeated on Sunday of each end of the month.
21Grand Carnival of Maiori and the Chocolate Festival with parades of allegorical floats: programme
The special appointment with the Grand Carnival returns to Maiori, this year the event celebrates its forty-ninth edition. In particular, the events will take place from 16 to 26 February 2023.
22Maddaloni Carnival: allegorical floats, street food and shows
The Maddaloni Carnival is also back to make this period even more fun with a series of events suitable for both adults and children. It is a traditional carnival event that takes place for 5 days, from 16 to 21 February (non-consecutive), and offers a rich program of shows, music, but above all the famous parade of allegorical floats.

The Gelato Festival World Masters is considered the most prestigious gelato event in the world. It is held only once every four years as the final event of the world championship. Championship which, after a rigorous qualification process with local, national and continental competitions, sends only the most appreciated and creative gelato makers to the final race.
