May of the Monuments
The May of 2017 Monuments will be entirely dedicated to Totò on the occasion of the 50 years since his death. For this reason, the event was titled 'o May to Totò. There will be a series of events dedicated to the Prince of Laughter and many shows, exhibitions, concerts, performances, guided tours and tourist routes.

The Rione Sanità, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of Totò's death, will dedicate it to him a review of free events and shows. Show Antiquitas in Luce
At MANN there will be the solo exhibition of Laddie John Dill entitled “Antiquitas in Luce“. The artist is an exponent of the "Light and Space" art movement based on the influence that light and geometric shapes can have on the environment and on the spectators. Laddie John Dill has introduced new elements and the handling of materials: cements, neon tubes and industrial aluminum.

The Musicians of Caravaggio
At Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano is exhibited "I Musici" by Caravaggio, on loan from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The work was made in 1595 and represents an allegory of music and love, played by the figure of Cupid holding a bunch of grapes. In the opinion of the critics, the cornetto player is Caravaggio's self-portrait.

Reggia Express
The Reggia Express initiative starts the historic train of the thirties of the Ferrovie dello Stato that from the Napoli Centrale train station will arrive at the Royal Palace of Caserta. The tourist itinerary provides a visit to the magnificent Royal Park and the rooms of the Palaceyou can also take part in an educational and gastronomic workshop.

Show Totò Genio
The Totò exhibition entitled "Totò Genio" will be held in three different locations: at the Maschio Angioino, at the Palazzo Reale and in the complex of San Domenico Maggiore. The event provides for the exposure of various materials even unpublished, including 50 video and photo contributions by a very young Antonio De Curtis, movies, stage costumes and various multimedia installations.

Show on Andy Warhol
At the Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano the exhibition dedicated to Andy Warhol was set up, the master of pop art, where you can admire two of the most important serigraphs dedicated to our volcano: the "Vesuvius (black)" and the "Vesuvius (red)". The two works, which mark the strong bond between the artist and our land, show the majesty of Vesuvius and the constant threat it exerts on citizens.

Exhibition on Picasso in Capodimonte and Pompeii
The exhibition "Picasso and Naples. Parade "was set up at the Capodimonte Museum and at the Antiquarium of Pompeii. It is a tribute to the artist on the occasion of the centenary of the trip to Italy. The exhibition includes the scenography of "Parade" from Paris, the sketch of the cubism poster "Les demoiselles d'Avignon" and the costumes of the "Parade" ballet.

Archaeological route to the Maschio Angioino
The archaeological route that will take place in the Maschio Angioino will have as its theme the "Time Line". This itinerary will allow you to travel a journey through time, alongside a guide, beginning with the remains of the Roman Neapolis, then going through the Early Middle Ages, until reaching the Angevin construction of the Castel Nuovo and the Aragonese rebuilding

Alice in Wonderland at the Teatro San Carlo
At the Teatro San Carlo will be staged the ballet Alice in Wonderland, on the original choreography of Gianluca Schiavoni, performed by the ballet of the San Carlo. It is a ballet based on the story of Lewis Carroll and on music by Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij and Aram Ilich Khachaturian. A novelty is the flash mob that the Theater will organize in Piazza Plebiscito on the occasion of the show.

Weekend of the Contemporary 2017
The Contemporary Weekend is an initiative that will involve some Neapolitan and Campania museums. This is an event organized by the Madre Museum which wanted to involve the other museums and places of contemporary art by making sure that report all the current exhibitions and extraordinary openings so that visitors can create a personalized itinerary.

A night at the San Gennaro Museum: a theatrical visit
One will be held at the San Gennaro Museum theatrical visit entitled Januaria. Tattoo Fest
The Mostra d'Oltremare is preparing to host the Naples International Tattoo Fest 2017. Visitors during the event they will discover the new frontiers of body art and body-modification. In addition to the tattoo convention, the exhibition will also host performances by street artists, relaxation areas, music and entertainment. There will also be several refreshment areas.

Vomero Fest
The Vomero district will be the protagonist of the "Vomero Fest" an event full of events dedicated to painting, cinema, photography, literature, fashion and street art. On Saturday the Via delle Stelle will be inaugurated, at the intersection of via Scarlatti and via Luca Giordano and the first "Stella", dedicated to Antonio de Curtis, made of lava stone and bronze, which reproduces the star-shaped perimeter of Castel Sant'Elmo.

Wine & the City
Wine & The City is a review that will involve more than 60 wineries from Italy and for the first time also from abroad. It will take place in different locations including museums, private studios, neighborhoods, churches and former prisons. Friday there will be a visit to the former Filangeri prison, Saturday the Concert at the Church of San Giuseppe delle Scalze and Sunday the visit to the Church of the Silk Art.

Aperitif at the Railway Museum of Pietrarsa
The Aperitreno was organized at the National Museum of Pietrarsa: Itineraries of Stories and Taste. An appointment in which participants can taste a special menu with wine pairings, to celebrate the flavors and ingredients of the Bourbon era. For the occasion, the real settings of the times of Charles and Ferdinand II of Bourbon will be recreated.

A Sea of Opportunity
"A Sea of Opportunities" is an event which will take place along the entire Neapolitan coastline, from Bagnoli to San Giovanni a Teduccio. Scheduled there there will be lots of free activities dedicated to the sea, including open days in sailing clubs and sports federations, to promote water sports such as sailing, kayaking and canoeing. There are also musical and dance moments with swing and dj set.

Dinner against poverty
The city of Naples is proving increasingly supportive and for two evenings its squares will host the homeless to guarantee them a dinner. At the event, organized by the Popular Solidarity Network, anyone can make their contribution by bringing food and drinks, but also good music and, above all, all their humanity and a word of solidarity.
