Saturday Night at the Museum
Those who wish to visit the museums in the evening can do so until December, every Saturday, thanks to the initiative of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities which allows the extension of theopening sites up to 24.
In Naples and Campania you can visit the National archeologic museum, Museum of Capodimonte, the Royal Palace of Caserta, the National Archaeological Museum of Paestum and Archaeological Park, i Ruins of Pompeii and Excavations of Herculaneum.

50 minutes to Capodimonte
An initiative that has been going on for months and is repeated with increasing success. For this new cycle of guided tours we will deepen the French decade in Naples, under the reign of Gioacchino Murat, brother-in-law of Napoleon Bonaparte who, together with his wife Carolina, contributed to furnish the Royal Palace with frescoes and paintings of great beauty.

Evening visits to the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum

Show Women of Modigliani
At the Agora Morelli one of the most visited exhibitions by Neapolitans, with the masterpieces of Modigliani digitally reproduced. The famous women with long necks will be the protagonists and the visitor will be able to interact with the works by downloading a free app on your smartphone.

Exhibition by Daniel Buren
“Like a child's game” is the exhibition set up by Daniel Buren at the Madre in which each object is well related to the surrounding space and to the exhibition site. The artist tries to emphasize the link between the museum and the public making sure that the latter feels an integral part of the whole, so much so that visitors will be able to enter a real space for games.

Exhibition on Mario Monicelli
A hundred years have passed since the birth of the director of the commedia dell'arte and the PAN celebrates him with a photographic exhibition full of unpublished shots, enriched by illustrations by Chiara Rapaccini, aka Rap, the director's companion for life who pays homage to him with acrylic works inspired by photographs from Monicelli's personal archive.

Theater at the Parker's Hotel

San Carlo Opera Festival
San Carlo Opera Festival will also take place this year, now in its second edition with a program of five operas and ballets, to enrich the summer with some of the most famous plays in the world.
Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 August will be on stage Giselle, the most famous classical ballet in the world, first performed at the Opera National de Paris in 1841.
