Hunting for gift ideas, Christmas decorations and typical products to taste? Go and visit the Christmas markets in Campania!

More than a month is still missing Christmas but the commercials on TV and the windows of shopping centers and some shops in the city remind us continuously that the Christmas holidays are approaching, even if we have the feeling that every year decorations, typical musichette, gifts and reflections on where to spend the days of celebration are anticipated more and more.

To all those who love the Christmas this atmosphere pleases, and it is the reason why many places have already prepared for the event, such as the city of Salerno which has already decorated streets, squares, gardens, monuments and buildings with Luci d'Artista 2013, or as some locations that are born with the purpose of immersing everyone in the Christmas atmosphere, like the Santa Claus village of Lago Patria and Santa Claus Village of Varcaturo who have already opened their doors to children and adults.

On the other hand also the the municipality of Naples has recently announced the program of events, fairs, shows and events in full Christmas theme.

But the most common tradition in the Christmas period, but also in the pre and post-Christmas period, is to visit the Christmas marketse, which are born in many countries and cities also in our region. A habit that also appeals to those who do not love Christmas so much, because it allows you to go in search of objects of all kinds, from antiques to handicrafts, from the most typical foods and dishes of different geographical places to toys for children, from decorations for the Christmas tree or to decorate the house for the shepherds for the nativity scene.

An opportunity to look for cheap and original gifts for friends and relatives and to "take refuge" from the frost of the streets and squares, immersed in the warmth of the lights of stands and stalls, escaping from the daily grind, between sensory experiences and cultural traditions.
