Carnival it also means allegorical floats! THE allegorical wagons they are characteristic of Carnival because they represent one of its most typical forms of expression and entertainment. It's about enormous vehicles colorful and decorated, which parade along the streets of the city during the carnival festivities, represent an opportunity for the community to celebrate their culture and have fun together
Floats are often made in a manner crafts with materials such as wood, cardboard, fabric and plastic, and are decorated with motifs and figures inspired by different themes, such as political satire, nature, history or fantasy.

1The Carnival of Scampia is back with the parade of floats: here is the route
GRIDAS (Group of Cultural and Social Initiatives of Scampia) organizes, as in past years, the 41st neighborhood Carnival in Scampia, with the participation of schools, associations and individual citizens. This carnival represents an opportunity to recover manual skills, establish and maintain a popular tradition and exercise creativity using waste materials.
2The first Carnival in Herculaneum with allegorical floats and concerts: program of the days
Carnival arrives in Herculaneum for the first time. The project, which takes the name of "Herculaneum = Legality + Tourism", invites citizens to visit the squares of the city on 18 and 19 February 2023 with music, allegorical floats, shows. The activities will take place both in the morning and in the afternoon and will be free.

The Carnival of Villa Literno is an event that has been very successful since its inception in 1985. Renowned in the panorama of Italian Carnivals, the history of this festival officially begins in 1985, with the construction of the first allegorical float, marking the start of a constantly evolving journey which for 2023 will arrive at Villa Literno on 11-12-18-19-21 February 2023.

In Casalnuovo in the province of Naples the most colorful festival of the whole year is celebrated, namely the 2023 Carnival. This will be the third edition of the Casalnuovo Carnival which will take place from Saturday 18 to Tuesday 21 February 2023. The event is open right at everyone, both adults and children, to spend a few days together in the name of fun.

The Maddaloni Carnival is also back to make this period even more fun with a series of events suitable for both adults and children. It is a traditional carnival event that takes place for 5 days, from 16 to 21 February (non-consecutive), and offers a rich program of shows, music, but above all the famous parade of allegorical floats.
