Sanremo 2023: the surprising dresses of the singers and guests on stage

Game with a bang 73th edition of the Sanremo Festival. An appointment not to be missed for all music lovers and beyond. Even style aficionados can't wait discover the looks flaunted on the Ariston stage which, very often, recall the meaning of the songs or the messages to be transmitted. Here's what we saw, among guests, presenters and singers, during the early evening of 7 February 2023.

Amadeus and Gianni Morandi

Evening in the name of elegance for Amadeus and Gianni Morandi. Amadeus, in fact, debuted with a glittery blue tuxedo and shirt signed by Gay Mattiolo. During the evening he changed into black trousers, a white shirt and a black bow tie with a white jacket with black neckline and patterns. The presenter is a true expert in jackets and this year he promises sparks. Promise already partially kept!

Pure elegance also for Gianni Morandi which starts with a nice Giorgio Armani suit in which a burgundy velvet jacket with a shiny collar stands out. The mid-evening change of clothes saw him wearing a black velvet suit also by Giorgio Armani.

Chiara Ferragni

Undoubtedly the most awaited and observed of the evening, the Chiara Ferragni look who wore 4 different outfits, left his mark. Dresses in the name of the Dior brand which saw her debut with a black dress in embossed fabric defined as “manifesto” given the message “Pensati Libera” on the back. The second dress is a nude, always Dior, a trompe l'oeil which gives the illusion of the nude and which was worn to reflect on the role of the woman's body.

The third is the dress against hate of those who, on a daily basis, rant and offend others. In white, it is distinguished by writings embroidered with black pearls (including "Disgusting"). The fourth suit is a Crystal-encrusted jersey jumpsuit on which it was worn a tulle skirt to symbolize a cage (the one in which the conventions of today's society force us).

Anna Oxa

Anna Oxa, the first to perform, is very keen to keep the clothes she will wear confidential. For the first evening she chose a black dress, long, combined with amphibians.

gIANMARIA

White shirt worn tucked in frontally and out the back. Garments made to measure by Massimo Giorgietti.

Mr Rain

Black tweed suit with trousers, jacket and shirt with lurex. A really shimmery look!

Mahmood

Paired with Blanco, he showed up in total black look with contrasting tank top by Rick Owens.

Blanco

Two appearances for Blanco who is making a lot of noise, and not just for the look. At first, he wore one great silver t-shirt signed Dolce and Gabbana with black trousers. Subsequently he showed up in total white with trousers, shirt and a beige bustier fenced in at the waist and in sight.

Marco Mengoni

He wears Versace with black leather pants and shirt. One of the most striking looks.

Elena Sofia Ricci

Shine in its own light with a night blue dress by Giorgio Armani very long and studded with crystals.

Ram

Look by Marni for this young face who wears black trousers, a red blazer and a white shirt, in full agreement with his piece.

Ultimo

It never denies! For him a Emporio Armani dark vest which leaves his arms and black trousers uncovered.

Coma_Things

The duo formed by Fausto Lama who wore a tartan suit and California in a long tight-fitting gold dress wanted pay homage to Vivienne Westwood who passed away on December 29, 2022.

I Pooh

Simple and elegant looks for Super Guests, i Pooh. Black velvet suit for Dodi Battaglia, black suit with sequined jacket for Roby Facchinetti, black jacquard fabric jacket for Red Canzian and black suit with tie for Riccardo Fogli.

Elodie

Wear Maison Valentino the singer launched by Friends of Maria DeFilippi who appears on stage in a transparent black jumpsuit with a leotard with a generous neckline underneath and a feather coat that does not go unnoticed.

Leo Gassman

He wears Emporio Armani with black trousers, jacket and tie. The white shirt features an embroidered black palm tree, symbol of the Sanremo Festival.

Countryside cousins

They have not denied themselves and have maintained the look that has distinguished them for decades. The four are presented with silver sequin jumpsuits and big wedge shoes.

Olly

Dark trousers, pink jacket with shawl collar. Appreciated the contrasts for one style, signed Lorenzo Oddo, which expresses freshness and youth.

Conjure

Black suit with jacket decorated with silver embossed motifs. One style that does not disappoint curated by Marco De Luca.

Glue Uncle

Liveliness and colors on the Ariston stage with these 5 guys who sported it style of Aurora Zaltieri.

Mara Sattei

Her stylist was inspired by minimalist and elegant fashion with this black velvet dress with very deep V neckline signed Armani Privè.
