Over the weekend from 21 to 23 on April 2017 in Naples there will be a series of initiatives including exhibitions, concerts and visits that will enrich the mind and spirit of those who will have the pleasure of being present. Our city is warmth, color, art and passion and this is demonstrated by the love with which visitors are hosted and events organized every week.
For all of you there will be several exhibitions like the one about Andy Warhol, Leonardo Da Vinci, Helmut Newton, Totò Genio and Picasso, or the concert by Mario Biondi or the Discodays fair. To know also the other events, let's see them in detail.

Show on Andy Warhol
At the Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano was set up the exhibition dedicated to Andy Warhol, the master of pop art, where you can admire two of the most important serigraphs dedicated to our volcano: the “Vesuvius (black)” and the “Vesuvius (red)”. The two works, which mark the artist's strong bond with our land, show the majesty of Vesuvius and the constant threat it exerts on citizens.

Archaeological route to the Maschio Angioino
The archaeological route which will take place in the Maschio Angioino will have as its theme the "Time Line". This itinerary it will allow you to travel a journey through time, alongside a guide, beginning with the remains of the Roman Neapolis, then going through the Early Middle Ages, until reaching the Angevin construction of the Castel Nuovo and the Aragonese rebuilding

Exhibition on Leonardo Da Vinci
In the Diocesan Museum the exhibition dedicated to Leonardo Da Vinci it will be enriched with a new work: the Tavola Lucana. It deals with of Leonardo's self-portrait found in 2009, a work that has just been restored and gives a definitive answer to the questions about the features of the master. After a series of careful studies, it was concluded that the Tavola is a self-portrait.

Show Totò Genio
The exhibition dedicated to Totò entitled "Totò Genio" will be held in three different locations: at the Maschio Angioino, at the Royal Palace and in the complex of San Domenico Maggiore. The event includes the exhibition of various materials, including unpublished ones, including 50 video and photo contributionsi by a very young Antonio De Curtis, movies, stage costumes and various multimedia installations.

Show Romeo and Juliet
At the Politeama Theater will be staged, in musical version, the drama of Romeo and Juliet, the two Shakespearean lovers. The actors will express their creativity by playing in the middle of the spectators, without the traditional stage and without prefabricated sets. William Shakespeare himself will be on stage to tell the story of the two lovers.

Show Helmut Newton
At the PAN will be held the exhibition of the most famous photographer of the twentieth century entitled "Helmut Newton. Photos. White Women / Sleepless Nights / Big Nudes ". The exhibition will be divided into three sections dedicated to the first three books by the photographer more than 200 images have been extracted dedicated to nude and female eroticism.

Show Picasso Parade
At the Museum of Capodimonte and the Antiquarium of Pompeii, the exhibition "Picasso e Napoli. Parade ", a tribute to the painter on the occasion of the centenary of his trip to Italy. They will be exhibited 68 works by Picasso among paintings, drawings and sculptures and from the Pompidou Museum in Paris will come the scene of "Parade", its largest long canvas 17 me high 10 m.

Exhibition on Picasso in Cava de 'Tirreni
Pablo Picasso's exhibition at the Marte di Cava de 'Tirreni sees the exhibition of 46 original works including paintings, engravings, ceramics and lithographs. The subtitle of the exhibition is "Natural stories and spiritual journeys" to highlight the sensory experiences that the artist has experienced in these places, including the Amalfi Coast.

Muse Festival at the Archaeological Museum
The Mann-Muse Festival at the Museum will take place in the halls of the Archaeological Museum of Naples with a rich program of meetings with famous people, music, theater, cinema, site specific installations, science, comics and new technologies. There will be over 50 guests including Amanda Sandrelli & Gino Paoli, Cesare Bocci, Niccolò Fabi, Tosca, Peppe Servillo & Solis String Quartet, Luca Nulchis and Egidiana Carta.

Visits to the Island of Vivara
After years of waiting and work the island of Vivara will reopen to the public to allow visitors to admire the nature reserve in the Phlegrean area belonging to Procida. For greater security, the railing of the bridge connecting Vivara to the island of Procida, and the gate in via Santa Margherita that prohibited public access to the bridge was eliminated.

Show The Young Pope
The "The Young Pope" exhibition organized by the Campania Region will be held at the Royal Palace. The exhibition includes 38 photographs taken by the scene photographer who followed the birth and the artistic realization of the "Young Pope" international fiction produced by Wildside, SKY, HBO and Canal + and directed by Paolo Sorrentino.

Shows East of the World
The 2nd edition of "East of the World" will end at the Il Primo theater, with works from China, Japan and North Korea. La Traviata at the Teatro San Carlo
At La San Carlo Theater will be staged La Traviata, revisited and directed by Turkish director Ferzan Ozpetek, who he modified the work in style and forms, moving the action to 1910, in a Paris of great charm. The plot is faithful to the original one, based on the dramatic love story between Violetta and the rich Alfredo. The sets are by Oscar Prize Dante Ferretti.

For the ten years of artistic career Mario Biondi has decided to make a stop with his “Best of the Soul” tour at the Augusteo Theater.
