In this second weekend of December there are many events in Naples for the weekend from 11 to 13 December 2015.
It starts with the Night of Art which will host the performance of Tony Esposito a Piazza Dante. We continue with the Exhibition of Citizens Masterpieces, the visit to the Chapel Sansevero, the daily life show at Grand Hotel Parker's and the theatrical visit of the Pictorial Paradise. The Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities promotes, also for this weekend, the initiative of A Saturday Night at the Museum and, in the museum area, let's not forget the activities of yoga within the museums themselves. The works of Caravaggio relive with the Tableaux Vivants and relives Pino Daniele with the exhibition dedicated to him.
In the music scene, Clementino it will be in concert at the Casa della Musica, while in the museums symphonic music will be offered in wonderful structures rich in culture. Furthermore, while waiting for Christmas, i markets by Marry Handmade, those of Torre del Greco and the Meraviglia Market with original and unique objects. The winter edition of Naples Strit Food Festival, with the typical gastronomic products of Naples, and the Festa del Torrone in Benevento with tastings of Classic Croccantino and Torrone.

Night of Art
The new edition of "Art Night" is back, the cultural initiative that involves all areas of the Neapolitan historic center. Many scheduled events, whose common theme will be "The Culture of Peace”With greater relevance to religion, women and the community. During the night of 12 December 2015 the shops will remain open and will have live music performances as a backdrop, including Tony Esposito who will perform at Piazza Dante.

Masterpieces of the Metropolitan City
As part of the initiative "We illuminate the monuments inside and out“, Until 7 January 2016 Naples will showcase its city masterpieces. For the occasion, the chosen locations are the Cirillo Room of Palazzo Matteotti, where sculptures and paintings by the Authority of the Province of Naples will be exhibited and the noble floor of the Palace of Portici, with works of art and collections of puppets.

Pictorial Paradise
Until the end of January, theatrical visits continue at the Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità. The evening show entitled "The Pictorial Paradise", by the La Paranza Cooperative, brings to life the catacombs of San Gaudioso under the Basilica and the characters who have left their mark in this place. Also you can visit the Church, rich in works by Luca Giordano and Andrea Vaccaro.

Saturday Night at the Museum
With the initiative promoted by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, the museums of Italian cities will remain open on Saturdays until the end of the year. Naples and Campania are also part of this project and the organized visits will be from 20.00 am to 24.00 pm. Each museum will have its own program of exhibitions and events, to discover its cultural heritage. The open museums will be the National archeologic museum, Museum of Capodimonte, Palace of Caserta and National Archaeological Museum of Paestum e Archaeological Park

Tableaux Vivants
The performances of the Tableaux Vivants, or the living pictures, in this case of Caravaggio, return. At Monumental Complex of Donnaregina, Diocesan Museum of Naples, 21 paintings will come to life with the artists who, through clothes, objects and scenic effects of the time, will reproduce the works of Caravaggio in every detail. To surround the whole there will be classical music in the background and a single ray of natural light that will illuminate the scene for the duration of the performance.

Yoga in museums
How to combine culture with relaxation? Simple, just follow the Yoga lessons inside the museums. Sunday 13 December 2015 will be the last appointment of the initiative at the Certosa di San Martino and Royal Palace within which real events will take place Yoga lessons with relaxation techniques. Just use a mat and wear comfortable clothes. In addition to the lesson, obviously, it is possible to visit the museum facilities.

Photographic exhibition on Pino Daniele
"20 years with Pino (Addove)”Is the title of the exhibition dedicated to the Neapolitan artist Pino Daniele, al PAN of Naples. The photos, videos, films, are edited by Alessandro D'Urso and want to relive Pino's life not so much as an artist, but rather as a man, father and husband, that is the person who hid behind the great Neapolitan singer-songwriter. From 1990 to 2008, Pino's life and his collaborations with national and international artists will be relived.

Do Not Disturb at the Grand Hotel Parker's
The wonderful hotel rooms of the Grand Hotel Parkers' will become, for this weekend, locations for performances of plausible stories, three in all, entitled "Do not disturb - The theater in the hotel". The spectators will follow the steps of the actors as if they were real spies watching their daily life gestures staged.

One night from the Prince
Saturday 12 December 2015 there will be an opportunity to access the San Severo Chapel, in the evening, at a reduced price. “A night from the Prince” is the title of the initiative and visitors will be able to pay only € 3, exceptionally, rather than € 7, with visits from 18.00 pm to midnight. All the money raised will be donated toOnlus AMREF Health Africa that deals with health in Africa.

Exhibition of crib art
The National Monumental Complex of San Severo al Pendio, in Via Duomo, has organized, until January 8, 2016, a Presepiale Art Exhibition with about 100 original nativity scenes, hand-built by Neapolitan artists / artisans. After 30 years of this event, all the artists have created a monumental crib of about twenty square meters, with unique and collectible pieces.

Clementino in concert
Saturday 11 December 2015 at the House of Music in Naples, Clementino will be in concert, with his own Miracle Tour 2015. After the song O 'Vient, the young Neapolitan rapper enjoyed great success, also winning the gold record and the Music Summer Festival. There have been several collaborations with various artists including Pino Daniele, Fabri Fibra, Jovanotti, Elisa and Kurtis Blow. Furthermore, Clementino is very passionate about theater and has created the “Clementino Live Theater”, a show of rap music and theatrical art.

Concerts at the Chapel of Vasari
It ends Friday 11 December 2015 the Chamber Music Festival, the musical event aimed at young talents that takes place at the Vasari Chapel, at the Monumental Complex of S. Anna dei Lombardi. Already in its 18th edition, the festival boasts a rich program of events with a classical repertoire ranging from the 700th to the 900th century, in the wonderful setting of the Chapel.

Music for Museums
The “Musica x Musei” initiative continues which, until 20 December 2015, will involve the whole city in order to promote the enhancement of the area's museum beauties. During the visits to the museums some musical intervals of symphonies performed from trios and quartets of the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory. To participate in the event are the National archeologic museum and Royal Palace.

Feast of nougat
This weekend, San Marco dei Cavoti will host the “Festa del Torrone e del Croccantino”, a gastronomic event already in its fifteenth edition. The event will support the ancient local specialties: the Nougat Kisses, or a glaze of sugar and cocoa with almonds and hazelnuts; and the Classic Croccantino, a mixture of almonds, sugar and hazelnuts in dark chocolate. In addition there will be local craft stalls, street shows and Christmas markets.

Naples Strit Food Festival
The second edition of the Naples Strit Food Festival, whose preview there will be Saturday 12 December 2015 a Piazza del Gesù. Also this winter preview is rich in gastronomic specialties, of every goodness belonging to the typical Neapolitan cuisine. Marvelous Market
This weekend the Church of San Giuseppe in Pontecorvo will host the Marvelous Market, an event born in Mexico in 2012 and which aims to showcase original and unobtainable items on the market, born from the creative flair of crafts and design talents. Visitors will be able to speak with the artists directly and participate in creative workshops organized by the talents themselves. Everything will be presented in the setting of the Monastic Complex of Montesanto.

Christmas markets in Torre del Greco
From the day of the Immaculate Conception and until Sunday 13 December 2015, the Christmas markets with gastronomic festivals. It will be possible to buy original Christmas gifts and home decorations. In addition, every evening, the town will smell local products through the pasta and bean festival, tastings of fried bacon, cod, papaccelle and new wine. The little ones can leave their letter to Santa and pose for a souvenir photo with him.

Merry Handmade
The Christmas markets continue! The Clubino in Via Luca Giordano, on 12 and 13 December 2015, will organize the “Merry Handmade”, a market of totally handmade creations. For visitors there will be jewelry, decorations, accessories, fashion, Christmas gifts, all handmade in a creative and original way. The initiative was born, mainly, to raise awareness among Neapolitans to support local art.
