Over the weekend from 16 to 18 December 2016 Napoli offers amazing events
In weekend from 16 to 18 December 2016 in Naples there will be extraordinary events. You can visit the Royal Palace of Caserta at 3 euro, or the Maschio Angioino, the hidden treasures at the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore at Pietrasanta or the Vermeer al Capodimonte.
If you prefer one theatrical representation there will be "Romeo and Juliet", "Cabaret", "The game of the parties" and "The Testament of Stone", while if you prefer the music you can choose between the Giovanni Allevi concert at the Palapartenope and the Euphoria gospel choir.
Of course there will be no lack of them Christmas events such as the Sciantosa and Scostumata Tombola at the Lazzari Felici Theater, the Santa Claus Village at the Mostra d'Oltremare and N'Albero erected on the Lungomare. Let's see the events in detail.

Hidden treasures, exhibition curated by Sgarbi
At the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore at Pietrasanta an exhibition of "The Hidden Treasures" has been set up. Caravaggio, Tino di Camaino, Gemito ". exposure will welcome a hundred works including paintings and sculptures, belonging to private collectors, who have characterized the last 700 years.

Vermeer in Capodimonte
At the Museum of Capodimonte one of the most beautiful works by the painter Jan Vermeer will be exhibited "The woman with the lute" together with other works by Neapolitan artists from the Pinacoteca. This exhibition underlines the close link between Neapolitan and Dutch art of the seventeenth century.

Theater show
The game of the parties
At the Teatro Mercadante will be on stage the drama of Luigi Pirandello "The Game of the Parts" directed by the director Roberto Valerio. The drama written by the author in 1918, focuses on an intrigue of passions between husband, wife and lover and in which one of the three will die.

Cabaret
At the Teatro Augusteo will be on stage Cabaret with Giampiero Ingrassia and Giulia Ottonello. The plot is set in the Berlin of the thirties and is based on the relationship between a young novelist and a girl who live their story in a city where Nazism is bursting into everyday life.

The Stone Testament

Romeo and Juliet in San Lorenzo Maggiore
The timeless drama of Romeo and Juliet will be staged at the Teatro Politeama. The actors will establish an interaction with the public acting in the middle of the spectators, without the traditional stage and without prefabricated sets. There music is inspired by the masterpieces of Nino Rota.

Giovanni Allevi concert with orchestra

Gospel choir Euphoria
To the Community Grow Together you will be able to listen to the Euphoria gospel choir for free that from 2010 engages in this ancient aspect of choral singing. N'Tree of 30 meters and 1.300.000 of multicolored LEDs it has been raised on the Lungomare. Corsa Holi to Poggiomarino
La first Holi-themed ride del Vesuviano will take place on Sunday at Poggiomarino.
