How to get to the Amalfi Coast: info by car, Circumvesuviana, train, bus and by sea

By car:

To get to the Amalfi Coast by car from the north, you have to take thehighway A3 Naples-Salerno and exit at Vietri sul Mare and continue on SS163 which leads to Cetara, Maiori, Minori, Atrani and Amalfi.

To arrive on the Amalfi Coast from the south you must take the Salerno-Reggio Calabria and exit at Vietri sul Mare. From here, continue following the directions above.

In Circumvesuviana

With the Circumvesuviana you can reach Sorrento with one of the Naples-Sorrento trains and then continue towards the towns of the Amalfi Coast with one of the SITA bus arriving in Maiori, Vietri sul Mare, Minori, Cetara, Atrani and Amalfi. By train

To arrive by train on the Amalfi Coast, from Naples, you can take a Trenitalia regional train to Salerno Central Station and then continue with a SITA bus of the Salerno-Amalfi line.
